Has anyone ever experienced this or heard of this in the writings of the saints? Like everything stops for a few seconds. If so, what did you/they see?
I haven’t read anything about this, but I could only assume that when the saints said time stopped, they probably meant that they were focusing on something so special, probably Jesus or Virgin Mary, etc and nothing around them was matter. They felt joy in their souls.Has anyone ever experienced this or heard of this in the writings of the saints? Like everything stops for a few seconds. If so, what did you/they see?
That’s amazing. Thank you for sharing.I had this experience. I relieved the preceeding two weeks of my life in real time. Yet it took less than an evening. I do not know how long, it may have been a few hours, it may have been a few seconds, I do not know.
I do know that this was how I became a Catholic Christian. When the experience started, I was an atheist, when it ended, I knew the God is real and He was pointing me to the Catholic Church.
There were a few things that led up to this that gave the experience a context.
Interesting.Has anyone ever experienced this or heard of this in the writings of the saints? Like everything stops for a few seconds. If so, what did you/they see?
