Welcome Aboard!! May you soon go from No belief, to much belief. šŸ‘

Yeah right now, my mom keeps forcing me to convert.
I believe that if I believe in something, it must be a true belief, forcing to convert back to Catholicism does not help.
Hopefully I do ā€œsee some angels hereā€ but again I’m going to be atheist a while because my opinion of society contradicts the church’s rule.
Welcome! A question for you to consider: What makes you think society is right and the Church is wrong? Many, many societies and isms have come and gone, but the Church is still here, still teaching the same things it did in 33 AD. Why is consistency less good than the passing whims of men? šŸ˜‰

I’m Atheist and will be unless an angel appears to me and tell me to change my ways.
"Change your ways, NoBeliefs!"

Yes, we have a sense of humor as well. šŸ˜‰ Seriously though, I believe that anything true must stand up to scrutiny. If my faith does not withstand questioning, criticism, dissection, controversy, etc., it must not be very strong.

Yeah, thanks for the welcome. I have some ā€œCatholic Knowledgeā€ because my mom raised me a Catholic till I started question life. But that’s over my head now. I’m glad we have people with knowledge here. I’ll enjoy my stay here.
Thanks again for the welcome!
Catholicism has a reputation as a ā€œThinking man’s religion.ā€ We often get very intellectual converts from othe religions, those who ask questions and reason through stuff, stometimes with quite a struggle.

Newt Gingrich is a perfect example. You can agree or disagree with his politics but he is definitely a smart man. It took him ten years but he did decide on Cathoicism.

I hope you keep asking questions.
