Mary always leads you to Jesus. To Jesus through Mary.

Through Mary alone? No, of course not. But then Mary is never alone, she is always with Him and always leads us to Him. That’s why we seek her out in the first place.
Just as the shepherds and wise men did in Bethlehem, we need to find Jesus ‘AND His mother’ - cause she’s never going to be away from His side.

True, she was the only person who stayed with Him faithfully throughout His entire life, from His blessed Nativity to the foot of the cross. She held Him as a babe, and as a lifeless body before being entombed. She walked with Him during His passion when His disciples had all but one abandoned Him. She is our model of fidelity, if you follow Mary, she will always take you to Jesus. She will always tell you to do as He says.Just as the shepherds and wise men did in Bethlehem, we need to find Jesus ‘AND His mother’ - cause she’s never going to be away from His side.

Jesus entered the world, through Mary. Doesn’t seem so strange to me… that we could enter Heaven through Mary. I believe it was St. Louis De Montfort who said that Our Lady is one of the shortest, easiest paths to Heaven. She always leads us to Jesus.

Maybe you might like to enlighten me on that one I am not sure I understand.
How could Mary be one of the shortest easiest paths to heaven?
I will agree that she will lead us to Jesus but do most catholics think this way? Some times I hear some people relate as if Mary is the way to heaven. where Jesus says he is the only way , not to heaven but to the Father.( this could be a general answer)

Even though I have great affection for my mother Mary, as someone who was a Baptist for 10 years before becoming Catholic, my greatest feelings of discomfort when joining the Catholic church have been about this.
There is such a fine line between understanding the gentle heart of Mary as our intercessor and example, and Mother of the Church, and understanding her as Savior. I do sense and believe there are people who cross this line and cannot distinguish between the two roles, though I would not make anyone in particular an example. I often think that God has called many Protestants into the Church for just this reason; to offer a fresh perspective to those raised in the Catholic faith.

I would say that God must have related strongly to you the fruits in the catholic church for you to be here God bless you.
I agree with what you have questioned and although having been born into the church I have heard many people relate thinking that the only way to heaven (and the Father) are through Mary because of the way they have understood the teachings of the church.
I guess mainly through the aparitions of Fatima and others not that the aparitions are wrong. But because they thought they were right in following the new happenings, and want to do things right, consiquently following Mary.
Is it possible then that far too much interest hav been put onto the aparitions than onto Jesus being the way the truth and the light?

I will try. The simple reason is that Mary, is our Mother. As Our Lord hung, dying on the Cross… His Holy Mother and St. John, present before Him… He showed yet another sign of the depth of His love and His generosity… when He said… “Woman, behold thy son”. Then He said to the disciple, “Behold thy Mother.” (John 25:27).
I have pondered this quite a bit lately. And am just starting to realize the awesome gesture which Our Lord made. He gave us, poor sinners… His very own, Beloved Mother… to be our mother. He shared the “Promised Woman” with us! Not only this… but He has also entrusted US… to HER care. What mother would not do everything in her power, to preserve the life of her child? Our Lady is no different. And in fact, far more so a mother… than many human mothers (as sadly, we see evidence of… in the news).

All Catholics who understand Catholic teaching understand the phrase “through Mary” as a method to get closer to Jesus. She is not the ends. Like those at the wedding feast who went to her when there was no wine and she in turn got Jesus to save the day! By her motherhood of the 2nd person of the Trinity, she “brings us” Jesus. She “presented” Him to us as well later in the Gospels.
I cannot let anyone who may unhealthily exalt Mary beyond Christ’s power get in the way of understanding true Marian devotion, which is efficacious, beautiful, and very, very Christ-centered.

May I suggest you to read the book “Devotion to Blessed Virgin Mary” by St. Louis De Montfort. He explained very well the relationship between Our Heavenly Mother and Our Lord Jesus and our devotion to Her.

Pray for me, I am in the middle of the Consecration. There is no doubt in my mind that The Blessed Mother wants me to trust Her in taking me to Jesus.
