However, you have no knowledge whatsoever about the status of an ANNULLMENT for Marc or J Lo. You can know about marriages from the database, but not the status of their annullment, if any exists. Nor would there be a public record of a convalidation of a marriage on your database. Lack of an annullment would not, in and of itself, prevent the child from being baptized, though it is potentially an impediment.
The priest along with his bishop, is the competent authority to make decisions about baptism, not us.
I would hope that the priest would deny baptism if there is no reasonable expectation that the child will be raised Catholic. That being said the priest will have more information on that issue than we here do.
