Yep he is irritating, I don’t know that I would consider him the very worst of all time… just because there are just so many worthy of consideration. Rest assured that he is right up there with a few of my personal favorites…Michael Jackson and Charley Sheen among them.

I guess I was odd person out growing up… while most of the females in society were swooning over Cruise… I thought “eh? What’s so great about him?” And now all I can do is just :rotfl:

I could sit here all night and come up with a list of irritating actors/actresses/“entertainers”… but someone beat me to it with Paris Hilton… I’ll add Britney Spears to the list.

Mr. Cruise takes the cake with irritation… but I actually feel sorry for Ms. Holmes. I can only pray that she doens’t get depressed just a wee bit after having the baby and I can only hope that some day, she wakes up and realizes that there is more to life than having a childhood crush and then all of a sudden he’s there. (That in and of itself is sick in my eyes… she’s young enough that he was a childhood crush) I do have faith in the Holy Spirit though…

I am surprised that no one mentioned Russel Crowe or Hugh Grant.
**Hugh Grant? A very naughty boy indeed! I love most of his movies (Edward in Sense and Sensibility). And his HAIR! Ohhh, to run my fingers through that hair ❤️ **

For me it’s:

Jane Fonda, Will Farrell, Michael Moore, Madonna, and John Travolta… oh, and that postman from Seinfeld. 😛

God bless,

I was thinking of it, but there are too many irritating (i.e. most of Holywood) celebrities to put on the poll:whacky:

PF
Please add Jennifer Aniston and Paris Hilton to the irritating list. Oops I just saw that Paris Hilton was already mentioned. No worry, she is very irritating!

Semper Fi:
Why isn’t Michael Moore among these?
Because he’s NOT a star. He’s a nobody with a camera guy.

I would add to the list Tom Arnold (can’t that guy sit still ?? He is in constant motion… drives me nuts)

Also, Rosanne Barr or whatever her name is since she’s been married about 5 times… so annoying.

And who’s the guy who’s married to Susan Sarandon… ? He keeps threatening to move to Canada after every election? So go already…!

Tim Robbins I think. He should learn to follow through on his threats.

Al Masetti:
Someone should start a poll on this issue.

Jane Fonda.

Alex Baldwin.

Madonna.

David Letterman

Signory Weaver

Ed Asner

Sinead O’Connor

Please tell me why Ed Asner made your list ?

Mike Farrell

carol marie:
He would get my vote for most irritating… no question. But what’s with those Brits? The article goes on to say that although he bugs them, they really like watching him in movies & voted him “the greatest movie star of all time.” THAT I beg to differ.
Ditto

Who is Ed Asner?
Ed Asner played the role of Mary’s boss, Mr. Grant, in The Mary Tyler Moore Show. He followed it with a show about the Grant character. (can’t remember the name of that particular show.

I love Will Farrell!! Ithink he’s funny. 🙂

(for those of you that like him too, I say, this thread needs more cowbell!! 😃 )

Definetly agree about Jane Fonda  she drives me nuts.

Celia:
“I got a fever…and the only prescription is more cowbell” 😃 Karin

Al Masetti:
Yeah, BUT… the “second” criteria is that they have to be irritating. I happen to like Eastwood (except when he makes movies like “Bridges of Madison County”), Connery and Hackman. They’re not irritating.
Hey, I love that movie!

I second Geneen Garafalo, although Tom is still more annoying. At least Geneen stuck to AirAmerica for her rants.

Will Pick:
Please tell me why Ed Asner made your list? [paraphrase]
Asner is a way far leftie, unreconstructed Socialist, who thinks Clinton is too conservative. Sean Hannity got Asner on his show one day just to deliberately bait him into making his extreme statements. Asner was amazingly obtuse (or else totally dedicated to the advancement of Socialism).

I keep hoping that 50 years from now, Jane Fonda will turn up as having been a secret CIA agent. [Unlikely, but she is just sooo far out there.]
