Thanks! Now I can’t get Will Farrel’s belly roll out of my mind. But you’re right. It does need more cowbell!!!Celia:

you might want to start a new thread on thisSo who are some public figures that people do admire and/or like?
I place first vote for Craig Ferguson. Because not only is he FUNNY, he is honest and humble.
Or, alternatively, maybe you are utterly lacking in discernment? You guys are easily irritated.
You think that I think he is irritating, don’t even get my wife started!Yep he is irritating, I don’t know that I would consider him the very worst of all time… just because there are just so many worthy of consideration. Rest assured that he is right up there with a few of my personal favorites…Michael Jackson and Charley Sheen among them.
I also think Brad Pitt is annoying in real life… but is a surprisingly good actor. He was amazing in “Snatch” My Irish friend says he has the gypsy accent down perfectly. Annoying? YES, but I have to admit he has proven his acting ability.Hey now…I LIKED “Bridges”! You want irritating, I’ll give you irritating…Brad Pitt ! Personally, there aren’t too many actors I like nowadays. Maybe that’s because they are all young enough to be my kids. Give me a golden oldie anyday

OH YES I forgot George Clooney. He always has this air of thinking he knows more than the rest of the population. No matter what role he is playing, he has a smug smirk. All I can think of when I see him is “The Facts of Life” sitcom in the 80’s. I didn’t know he was using his “wisdom” to make political movies. He can take the place of 14 on my list. Can I add George “I ruined Batman and now I’m gonna copy Michael Moore and make Bush-bashing movies” Clooney?
I was sitting here banging my head (not literally) trying to think of Hugh Grant’s name… I could see his cutsy pie annoying self in my mind but couldn’t think of his name. I thought he was really cute when I was in high school when he was in “Four Weddings and a Funeral,” but then I realized that he basically plays the same character in every movie, and after awhile that stumblig ,cutsy pie, in touch with his feminine side, bad teeth crooked smile just grates on my last nerve. then low and behold, the above comment jogged my memory! The show was “Lou Grant”.
I once met Ed Asner and heard his “lecture” at the University of Dayton, OH in 1993. It is a Catholic College. Everyone was gushing over him and all I could think was “this guy is annoying.” I felt like a member in the town who was gushing over the Emperior’s new clothes.Asner is a way far leftie, unreconstructed Socialist, who thinks Clinton is too conservative. Sean Hannity got Asner on his show one day just to deliberately bait him into making his extreme statements. Asner was amazingly obtuse (or else totally dedicated to the advancement of Socialism).
