Tom Monaghan is famous, not only for establishing the Domino’s pizza chain, but for founding Ave Maria Law School, then Ave Maria University, and the town of Ave Maria, Florida. He is known for his commitment to orthodox Catholicism.

But Gyrene Burger? :ehh:
Gyrene’s employees wear military-style camouflage uniforms and salute when making deliveries. The stores will resemble military-style Quonset huts covered with camouflage.

I dunno about that business model. :o

He has big dreams though. Currently with only one restaurant, he hopes to expand to 20,000. In contrast, there are only 13.000 McDonald’s in the US.

All in all, the newspaper article is a nice story about a local boy who made good. 🙂
