Pax Christi!

Cool. Good share.

But getting my vote: my mama!!

God bless.

I wonder who created this list? What were the criteria?

Where is St. Theresa of Avila? St Catherine of Siena? St Theresa Benedicta and St Josephine Bakhita are obviously worthy of admiration but what about our own St. Elizabeth Ann Seton, who founded the first Catholic school in America?

Ten amazing Catholic women? Absolutely! THE top ten? Open to debate IMHO.

Why do you have to take a nice thread about Catholic women and turn it into a slam?

Is this what passes for humor in your set?

I have a problem with Mother Angelica on the list as she is still living and henceforth not a Saint. I have no problem with Mother Angelica personally but a canonized Saint and Doctor of the Church always outrank very virtuous, people still alive on earth.

St. Bernadette, St. Catherine, St. Theresa of Avila, St. Mary Magdalene, St. Philomena are others that in my opinion should be on that list before Mother Angelica.

I am not sure what criteria she used, but Miriam Westen compiled the list. Here is a short CV:
