HaaThose are pretty tame compared to some of the comments we heard when we announced our third, and the comments at three were very mild compared to some of what we heard with our fourth. By the time we had our fifth, we were avoiding the people who commented about our third and fourth.
Why? You shouldn’t be upset over what people may have thought about your mother being pregnant with you.I really don’t get what the big issue is for someone to have more than two kids.
Who in the blazes cares whether or not they have a third child!
This hurts me because I am a third child!

Oh my we got that too. We had one family member who was as rude as to say that the child was conceived before we were married. It hurt us both deeply as we worked hard to be chaste during our dating and engagement.I got some rude responses when my husband and I announced our first pregnancy. I got pregnant a few weeks after our wedding. I realize it’s sort of the norm to wait at least a year before starting a family, so I guess we did things all wrong.
I really don’t know why people think other people’s fertility and family planning goals are their business. If people WANT to share such things fine, but asking, IMHO is just plain RUDE.
Congratulations and best wishes:thumbsup:I remember getting those comments when I was pregnant with my third. Must be something about kids outnumbering parents that sets people off. Once you have more than that, it seems that the comments aren’t as bad. When I had our sixth last summer at the age of 45, most people were actually pretty charitable and would remark, “Oh, I wish I would have had more.” Let’s see how everyone acts when we announce another pregnancy soon.
