I hope everyone knows I was kidding. And I saved the best for last:
- LOTR (I cry every time)
- Toy Story 2
5.Beauty and the Beast- The Parent Trap (Hailey Mills)
- Cinderella
- Father Goose (Cary Grant)
- Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith (best romantic dialogue ever)
Whew! I was left wondering if someone had actually liked that Star Wars romance…I hope everyone knows I was kidding.![]()
It reminded me of last Christmas when my roommate was watching that most Christmas of all movies Return of the Jedi. Nothing like duelling your Father to the death that brings out the Christmas spirit in all of usWhew! I was left wondering if someone had actually liked that Star Wars romance…
“Anakin…you’re breaking my heart!”Whew! I was left wondering if someone had actually liked that Star Wars romance…
I’ll agree with your #2,#3,#5 and #7 since I’ve seen all of them.Since Valentine’s Day is around the corner I would like to ask everyone here to submit their top 10 list of romantic movies. If you can’t do 10 that is alright too.
Here is mine in no particular order:
- An Affair to remember
- Breakfast at Tiffany’s
- Ever After
- Casablanca
- A Walk to remember
- The Jeweller’s Shop
- Sound of Music
- Anne of Green Gables (sequel)
CRINGE!“Anakin…you’re breaking my heart!”
Oh, Lord, Sir Trevor! Yikes! I saw this at the show back in the 60s when I was a kid. It was a double feature. Admission was .25c and we got a Black Cow or a Slow Poke (I’ll leave you to “google” them) which lasted through at least the first feature.
- The Parent Trap (Hailey Mills)

Oh thank goodness! Holding in the snarky comment was nearly killing me.I hope everyone knows I was kidding.![]()
Check out the 1976 or so Robin and Marian with Sean Connery and Audrey Heburn. No comparison. A true love story.Disney’s Robin Hood (the animated one with the two foxes)
CRINGE!

I saw it a long time ago, it’s probably worth another view. But boy how these two capture my heart!!!Check out the 1976 or so Robin and Marian with Sean Connery and Audrey Heburn. No comparison. A true love story.
I agree! I’ve never bawled so hard from a movie in my life.:crying:The Notebook
Hands Down.
I bawled for 30 minutes after it was over and I NEVER cry at movies. I’m not much of a sentementalist.
Mine too! It’s the first answer on my lips whenever I’m asked what my fave movie is. The scenery is gorgeous, and the score to die for! I saw the opera “Gianni Schicchi” once on stage, and I couldn’t breathe while “O Mio Babbino Caro” was being sung, I was fighting back the tears. Not because of the opera Gianni Schicchi, but because of the movie A Room With a View. I can’t count the # of times I’ve seen the movie because sometimes I put it in just for backgroud noise. My all time, number one favorite would have to be A Room With A View. That kiss, wow!
A&E’s Pride & Prejudice is a close second.
