My deacon is a physicist. I did not know this until his wife told me.

Have not read the article, but being associated with a few scientists in the fields of microbiology, geology, medicine, they are undercover to protect their jobs. What the Vatican is asking will ‘out’ them and they will be victims of a purge and will no longer be able to affect their colleagues or provide for their families. It is professional suicide.

I have read the article:
“It’s a crime against science to say that only atheists can do it,” he said, “because if that were true, it would eliminate so many wonderful scientists.”

Atheist have eliminated wonderful scientists, by blacklisting those who believe in God. I know a college professor of Geology who was purged before tenure because he believed in God. He was told exactly that, that his beliefs were not in line with the university’s.

I think it better to live for Christ. I don’t know whether or not you have forgotten this but our religion requires us to tell people about Christ it is not voluntary. I mean I’ve met more than a few scientists that are Christians a lot of physicists seem to be Believers or at least ones I have met
