The limit of forums is as far as the legitimacy of the interpretation and understanding (read: catechesis) of the people posting on it. Further, while possibly being very well-catechized, one might be deficient in explaining it, or otherwise a barrier to the understanding of others may be present-- and often is indeed.

Fisheaters can get just as dicey as this place. But, the main side of Fisheaters is very much GOOD.

In the end, the only valid doctrine is via Tradition.

That statement can be read multiple ways. How you read it, and take it, will demonstrate the point perfectly. 😉

You just advertised for it. 😛
I’m sorry, I should have been more specific. It was a site recommended to me by an SSPX-er on Facebook. But I’ve seen that forum. They reject all the Popes after Pius XII, right?
And thanks for the poster who defended my vocation. The reason I left the Church for many years is because I didn’t feel I belonged. And I’m sick of people limiting vocations, like that poster above. I’m glad he and his wife have their priorities right, but why did he have to leave me out by saying I have no vocation? People like that have caused me to leave the Church before.😦

I was never called to the religious life. Nor have I found the right Catholic man to marry. So I remain single. I am glad no one has told me either join a convent or marry for the sake of being married. I know I am not the only person out there in this situation, and no one should tell us there are only a few choices, and that we do not fit in if we do not fit a certain category.

There are more then a few of us singles that were not called to the religious life. When I’ve been asked why I didn’t want to be married I just say I know what I have I don’t know what I’d get.:):tiphat:

I have heard that given the amount of sin in the world, that people who should have been married are in a way “stuck in a type of limbo” because there are not enough people suitable for marriage. sigh I’m stuck in “limbo”.

Sounds it’s time for group hug among us ‘nobodies’! :grouphug::console::harp::knight1:
group hug for those of us who need it.

Some people really need to read the words of St Paul about not all people can be or do certain things in 1 Corinthians 12
