Pittsburgh is a very Catholic city. As well as a city of immigrants, there’s a bunch of little neighborhoods and lots of Southern and Eastern European immigrant history (Slavs and Italians

) which makes it fun. What a great city… I’m sure you would like it!
Also Pittsburgh has the biggest Latin mass church in America (St. Boniface) if that’s the sort of thing you like! As far as I’ve seen the vernacular masses are all just as reverent and beautiful. I’m in a vacation-y part of south now, and so some of the masses are a bit… odd. Moving to Pittsburgh next July though!:yyeess:
And of all the Protestants and atheists there… most were at the very least baptized Catholic.
More fun Catholic things there: Pittsburgh has a huge amount of the other rites as well, so you can explore almost every aspect of the Church you’d like! And I’ve heard of a church with thousands of relics or something like that… you’d want to check it out.
PS: Also I believe Ave Maria, Florida is like a little Catholic enclave from the rest of the south. But that’s all… plus it’s very hot(summers you won’t even want to go outside), the bugs are massive, and if you have kids, they’ll never see snow.
Parts of New Jersey and upstate New York too. (South Jersey has a church on every corner it seems:thumbsup: that’s where I’m from.)
And this is only hearsay… but Detroit as well.
Less Catholic cities would be… well Cleveland comes to mind… also cities in Texas and Alabama. I don’t really know about the western part of the country, somebody else might let you know:shrug:
