But those poll predicted that Clinton would win the electoral collage so they aren’t that accurate.
Of course, I was talking about the margin in error of the polling regarding the actual popular vote and not the electoral college.

The polling was close. It indicated that Clinton would win the popular vote by 4% and she won the popular vote by 2%.
Ok fine.Clinton for all intent and purposes won the popular vote,so yes the polls were accurate in that regard. In the end so what?

Wow. I made that point clearly. It means that we shouldn’t discount the polling that shows Trump as quite unpopular.

Correct. I do not believe that polling itself is outdated. However, there are certain problems in the modern technological age and certain other problems that were specific to the 2016 presidential election. With regard to that election, there were probably many people who were hesitant to admit they supported Trump and stated either that they supported Clinton or that they were voting for a third-party candidate or else not voting at all. Insofar as technology is concerned, some means should be made to compensate for the fact that telephone polls do not account for the preponderance of cell phones in our society as compared to landline phones, and not only among the younger generation.

If that’s the case, welcome to the club.Several of us here on the forum have been engaging in circular debates with a handful of left leaning posters, who for all intents and purposes never get the point either.😉
👍

Was it, in some way, indicating that you didn’t get the point? Because I want to make sure everyone gets the point, since a lot of people are having difficult.
She lost but I understand she got a certificate of participation.

Do you not understand the point I was making?
Was there a poll on her choice of Vice President - Tim Kaine? I would like to know what that poll said because I think he could have been another reason she lost. If a poll showed he was a good choice - well, my friend, there is another inaccurate poll.
Because they BOTH lost!

If debates mean much, and in the case of Trump and Clinton apparently not since I think Trump was awful (while Clinton was just a little too slick), Kaine was horrible compared to Pence, as I recall. Funny that Hillary has not blamed Kaine as well for her loss, but maybe she will get around to it eventually.

Oh that’s right, this thread is actually about Trump, yet there has been an inordinate number of posts dedicated to proving the polls for HC were accurate,so that you could drive home the point of Trump’s unpopularity? Sheesh, everyone knows that the people who count in this country and the world ove despise the guy .We need a poll for that?🤷

I thought of that too. Why did she not point out her selection of Tim Kaine as another reason for losing?
Maybe she is saving that for her next book!
