We’ll see. Then why do you still believe the ‘Russia hacked the election’ story?

I thought that odd and tried to draw him out on it further. He wouldn’t step in it though. The easiest way to tell that Trump is doing a fantastic job is when you see liberals actually praising Ronald Reagan in a desperate attempt to make Trump look bad.
In political polls, they also “weight” the polls in the analysis to look like the vote. They will figure what percent of the voters will be democrat/republican etc., and then adjust the numbers to look like what the make up of likely voters will be.nytimes.com/interactive/2016/us/elections/polls.html
Actually - the polling was not very accurate - even though Hillary won the popular vote …
You all know the adage “Statistics don’t lie but lie-ers use statistics”
Hillary did not win the popular vote in a plurality of states … Trump did… Hillary’s popular vote win was very locally found in heavily left leaning locations with large population bases // which is why we are the United States of America and not the United Peoples of America and also why we have an electoral college - whose electors are governed by the Rules set in place by the respective States
So the Polls showed Hillary winning 195 Electoral Votes to Trumps 154 … but that was not very close to the reality
Of the states they polled - they had Hillary the favored winner 2:1 … but that did not happen either
They had Hillary’s chance of winning in the “UpShot Forecast” 85% to Trumps 15% … well … that did not work out either
Just an observation … The Polls may be saying something - but are they saying what the pollsters have interpreted or not? A big question …
Were these polls written in such a way to get a 'certain" response and tell a pre-determined story … Polls have been used in this way to shape and actually move public opinion … bbc.com/news/uk-31504146
And also when they started making personal attack and distasteful joke about him instead of actually talking about substance and effect of his policy. The easiest way to tell that Trump is doing a fantastic job is when you see liberals actually praising Ronald Reagan in a desperate attempt to make Trump look bad.
Well, they’ve been doing that since the day he announced his candidacy. Which was one of the reasons I quickly converted to a Trump supporter; anyone hated that much by the left had to be a good choice. And also when they started making personal attack and distasteful joke about him instead of actually talking about substance and effect of his policy.
It’s really very simple. The quality of presidents and presidential candidates during the past 50 years or so has deteriorated on both sides of the aisle. Therefore the ones we may not have liked in previous years, we now like and even admire. Nearly everything is relative and contextual.I thought that odd and tried to draw him out on it further. I agree the quality has really deteriorated. The last 3 elections have been the worst. It’s really very simple. I can’t even imagine who and what may be next in 2020.I agree the quality has really deteriorated. The last 3 elections have been the worst.
Me either!I can’t even imagine who and what may be next in 2020.
Joe Biden is entertaining the idea of running and you can be sure ElizabethvWarren is all in,lastly don’t rule HC out.The woman is relentless in her pursuit to win the WH.My fear is we may have dodged the HC bullet only temporarily.I hope my fears are unfounded.I can’t even imagine who and what may be next in 2020.
Yes, that’s what happens when people decide to be sarcastic or intentionally pretend to not understand a simple point than actually debate. Like what you did.Oh that’s right, this thread is actually about Trump, yet there has been an inordinate number of posts dedicated to proving the polls for HC were accurate,so that you could drive home the point of Trump’s unpopularity? Sheesh, everyone knows that the people who count in this country and the world ove despise the guy.We need a poll for that?

Yes, back when Republican presidential candidates could speak in complete sentences and had core values. Shocked that someone think that is praise-worthy, but most Republicans don’t realize how far their party has slipped. The easiest way to tell that Trump is doing a fantastic job is when you see liberals actually praising Ronald Reagan in a desperate attempt to make Trump look bad.

Yep. For the thousandth time, many Trump critics on this forum also vehemently opposed Obama and Clinton for various reasons. Both major parties are in bed with Satan and opposed to the Church on a host of issues. Clinton would have promoted unthinkable evils… but that doesn’t change the fact that Trump is dangerous and incompetent.Pot meet kettle!![]()

Exactly. His use of sarcasm has not escaped me either.Pot meet kettle!![]()
Trump has core values, and certainly is a better speaker than Selfie-Stick or Hillary. If he had an upper-class New England accent he would be revered as one of the great speakers of all time. But instead he’s a New Yorker, which apparently automatically makes him a lower life-form in the eyes of the extra-special elites.Yes, back when Republican presidential candidates could speak in complete sentences and had core values. Donald Trump did most of his rallies without a teleprompter. Obama couldn’t do a press conference without someone feeding him the answers. Trump might not be the perfect candidate, but since there’s no such thing anyway, I’ll be satisfied with what we got.
Same here!
