Excerpt:

President Donald Trump continues to cast doubt on US intelligence assessments that Russia meddled in the 2016 presidential contest, just as his aides announced details of his upcoming summit talks with President Vladimir Putin.

“Russia continues to say they had nothing to do with Meddling in our Election!” Trump wrote on Twitter Thursday morning. He went on to question why US law enforcement agencies weren’t investigating other perceived influences on the election, which he has repeatedly said was rigged for his opponent Hillary Clinton.

“Where is the DNC Server, and why didn’t Shady James Comey and the now disgraced FBI agents take and closely examine it? Why isn’t Hillary/Russia being looked at? So many questions, so much corruption!” he wrote.

The President’s tweet was sent roughly a half hour before the White House announced the two leaders will meet on July 16 in Helsinki, Finland, where they will “discuss relations between the United States and Russia and a range of national security issues.”

Is that the same Russian meddling that Trump criticized Obama for doing nothing about?

To my understanding, there’s not a whole lot of doubt that Russia meddled in the election. However, it seems Obama was right in saying it didn’t amount to much.

The “Trump/Russia collusion” thing, though, is a different thing, and really seems to be fabricated. All this time, and all this money spent on Dem prosecutors, people charged with this and that unrelated thing, and still no Trump/Russia connection.

But it does interfere with the ability of the government to deal effectively with Russia as a country. Perhaps without adequately thinking it through, the Democrats have put Putin in a position to manipulate this country by claiming things that never happened. The Democrat media hates Trump so much that if Putin said “Oh, yeah, Trump and I colluded” they would never see the deception because they would be so intent on destroying Trump, they would pretend to believe it even if they didn’t.

Well, today the President seems to disagree with you.
He didn’t say there was NO meddling. If you read the article, you’ll see that this administration’s position is that there WAS Russian meddling, just not the “collusion” the Dems are failing to prove.

The investigation isn’t over, but you may recall that a number of Russians have been charged with election meddling that centers around a “troll farm.”

I can get you a link to the indictment. It’s long, but it’s fascinating reading. Let me know if you would like that link.

The question regarding coordinating with that effort remains to be resolved.

Pretty safe for Muller since none of those people will ever actually be punished, and will almost certainly never appear in the U.S. for a sham “trial” in which the only party there is the prosecution.

All the same, one of them (by lawyer) did bite back once and caused the judge to tell the truth on the Mueller prosecutions; that all they are is an attempt to get Trump.

I could certainly be wrong, but it seems to me that what you describe here some sort of mass hysteria. I don’t see it with the media, but I do see quite a lot of mass hysteria at Trump rallies as he rambles from one outlandish claim to another…

Please provide a link. I have no idea to what you are referring.

The MSM’s effort to destroy Trump does often seem like mass hysteria. But I don’t think they’re mentally as hysterical as they sound. They’re just over-acting.

What you’re seeing at Trump rallies is simply crowd enthusiasm. People also cheer at football games, but that doesn’t mean they’re hysterical.

I don’t know about “outlandish”. I saw part of his ND rally last night and I didn’t see any “outlandish” claim. On the contrary, he engaged in a bit of self-deprecating humor, explaining how he mentally claimed success in one thing, but then learned that it was the work of others.

My time today consists of riding in the car; and I have an iPad Pro and good internet access so I could make a long list of outlandish comments that Trump supporters cheered like trained seals… but to what end? Let’s just agree to disagree.

Looks like I owe an apology. the Judge did slap down Mueller’s team in the “Russian 13” case when one of the Russian groups complained that Mueller’s team did not properly comply with discovery requests. But the slapdown in which the judge said the only purpose of the Mueller prosecution of Manafort was to bring down Trump, was in the Manafort prosecution, not the Russian 13 prosecution.

I had the two confused.

Trouble with that kind of thing is like the trouble with the incessant Democrat claims of Trump “lying”. Whenever they disagee with him, they claim it’s a “lie” on his part (never on theirs, of course).

Sigh, you’re begging for a list… I just saw two Scissor-tailed Flycatchers… I’m going to do some birding…peace out.
