I thought it was supposed to be Russia and Mr. Putin who were meddling in the US elections? But it looks like it was Hillary’s campaign all along playing dirty tricks to make Mr. Trump look bad.

I can’t vote for a felon. True, Hillary hasn’t been charged with any of it but it seems the administration and FBI are protecting her.

I don’t want a country who has one justice system for some higher ups and another justice system for the rest of the country.:mad:

Whether the law will be enforced or not, people will increasingly adopt the “notion” that lawbreaking is just fine, the only question being whether one is likely to get away with it or not.

But perhaps we’re there already.
 
I would suggest that you do view the video I linked to in post #408. The Project Veritas video has been corroborated in a number of ways…

First, this is the classic “argument from silence”. Second, I am not disputing the claim either. If you look at Peter Plato’s earlier posts where he omitted any references to a claim, Peter said he was conducting a psychological experiment, so I was just asking to see how his experiment is going. Third, there is more than just one claim involved in the referenced tape. There are many. Some may be true and some may be false. It is imprecise to lump them into one single claim. Fourth, even if all the claims are true, they do not amount to “rigging the election”. Dirty tricks in campaigning have been around forever. The term “rigging” is usually reserved for corruption of the voting process itself, such as tampering with voting machines, or voting illegally, or preventing votes from counting. It is fashionable today to call anything and everything “rigging”. But words do have proper meanings, so it would be best to use them, unless your intent is to deceive.

I believe that bussing people around to vote multiple times qualifies as “rigging”
 
Nasty seems pretty tame compared to some attacks from Washington and Jefferson’s era:

Jefferson’s campaign attacked Adams as “a hideous hermaphroditical character with neither the force and firmness of a man, nor the gentleness and sensibility of a woman.”

Adams campaign shot back calling Jefferson “a mean-spirited, low-lived fellow, the son of a half-breed Indian squaw, sired by a Virginia mulatto father.”

Please excuse me if I don’t think calling someone nasty is a big deal.
[Didn’t both Adams AND Jefferson hire Madison to write their campaign advertisements? In other words, Madison was attacking himself … and then defending himself … and then re-attacking. Maybe my memory is faulty. ]

Hillary was trying to make Putin look like the “bad guy”.

And it was her all along.
 
People wonder why Trumps message of of securing our border is resonating - here is a prime example … and no they do not hate immigrants nor are they racist … we have immigration laws and they should be enforced …

If you mean “so much for the report…” because the Clinton campaign, the WH, and the news media have colluded to bury the story and threaten James O’Keefe, then you may be correct that we likely won’t hear much more about it – but that wouldn’t be because the videos have been proven false.

Most disgusting part of Clinton in the debate was in the pro-life part where after Trump pictured a grotesque abortion of a baby child in the ninth month Clinton said yes…
Another part, and this should be for Clinton s voting machine a great concern, was Clinton complaining about the hardships of a new manufacturing company which HAVE TO compete with the lower manufacturing prices offered by China… Hello, after 30 years in politics pretending you keep the people part, and have never said no to investments in China, come and tell people there are problems creating jobs for the $15 wage you have promised?

For those who think what Trump said about a woman ten years ago was bad then what do you think of Bill having Arkansas police officers taking phone numbers of women and Clinton asking them what they would like to do with those women? Then having the same officers arrange the meet up later.

Look, I won’t be voting for Hillary Clinton either (or Donald Trump).

But what’s sickening to me is the fact that our political discourse has become so debased that loony conspiracy theory nonsense has become mainstreamed.

Please. If you’re going to make allegations like this, back them up. With real, reliable sources. And facts.

It is your obligation, as an American (not to mention a Catholic) to do so.

These two guys (Bill and Donald) were pretty good friends. They pretty much know about each other, I would think. But Bill isn’t running.
