Yes. She fails to qualify on such grave grounds that I would not care whether she tips 100% or not at all. I am only saying that while tipping is important to the server, even to the server it is not as important as getting a worthy President.

What case closed? In 2000 Al Gore did not concede because he thought the votes were too close and wanted a recount of certain Florida counties.

Election Day hasn’t even got here, votes haven’t been tallied yet, we have no idea how many electoral college votes either one gets, but Trump thinks if Hillary wins its voter fraud, but if he wins it’s the will of the people.

That isn’t at all like 2000.

My point is that everybody is acting like this has never happened before, and it is just horryfying. Its all a sham because they supported a candidate for President that challenged the election results and it wasn’t so horrifying then or a threat to democracy!
 
Trump knows how corrupt the system is and it appears he wants to wait until the election before making any promises. He probably learned not to believe anyone who takes pledges and won’t keep them from the primary and figures Hillary would not honor her pledge to accept the election if Trump wins. From my understanding after many years she still feels that Gore won his election.

She and many other high up democrats were calling other elections rigged so start reading or listening to the facts from previous elections.

I realize something now, or rather what I already knew has been significantly reinforced…

I am utterly terrified of the Trump ideology.

You think one thing is a bridge too far and then it gets worse. Infinetly worse.

It doesn’t matter what Trump does or says, someone somewhere will defend him to the hilt. Terrifying.

Terrified? Of what, precisely? How many wars has he started? How many has Clinton started? How many terrorists has he armed? How many has Clinton armed? What actions has Trump taken against the Church? What actions have Clinton taken against the Church? Who threatens, in effect, to shoot down Russian planes in a “no fly zone”? Trump or Clinton?

I think it’s reasonable to be terrified, but not by Trump.

Donald Trump has spent his entire life seeking out every camera and microphone in the room so he could preen and strut around for the general public. Nothing is worth doing for him unless its done loud and in front of an audience.

Want to insult someone? Don’t tell them to their face, call them a dirty pig on Twitter so the entire country can hear you! Want to brag about all the married women you’ve had sex with? Tell the entire listening audience of Howard Stern. Want to cheat on your wife? Don’t be ashamed, parade your mistress around the city of NY so every tabloid can write about it!

No one had to “trick” the public into seeing Trump as a self serving reprobate, he’s spent the last 40 years doing it himself.

He knew this would happen before he even ran. He’s on video (big surprise there) talking to an interviewer about how his life style made him un-electable. I believe his words were regarding his “good friend” Bill Clinton, “With what they’re doing to Clinton (regarding his sexcapades), can you imagine what they’d do to me?” The idea that his supporters actually believe he could win amazes me.

This whole year has been a race to the bottom from both parties.

Trump has no public record in affairs of state to critique or scrutinize in detail. Clinton has been doing her thing in that regard for 30 years and has built up a litany of errors like innumerable other career politicians. So I think it is a tad disingenuous to compare the two on that front, when Trump obviously has the natural advantage of a blank slate.

One can judge Trump only on what he has said and the manner in which he has portrayed himself throughout his campaign - as well as the evidence that continually filters out about his shoddy, debauched past. The signs have been alarming to many people. I have listed his grave deficiencies of character, temperament and mindset ad nauseum in prior threads. I’m too tired tonight to go through it all methodically, for the dossier is a huge one and ever-growing. I shall though, if you insist, tomorrow.

But, really, what good will it do? It is abundantly clear that those who have wedded themselves to the Trump train are going to ride it through to the end, irrespective of the warning signs and the impending crash that will follow November 8.

He is the most troubling, divisive and frankly disturbing man that I think has ever run for political office in a major democracy since at least the 1930s. Barry Goldwater is like a fluffy kitten compared with him and Hillary should know since she was a Goldwater girl back in the day. I watch those recordings of his rallies and its spooky to think that he was so offensive to mainstream discourse in 1964, and yet he didn’t say anything even half as horrendous as Mr Trump.

Society must have regressed or something. What on earth would Tocqueville think if he could see the 2016 election? Perhaps he would write a sequel to “Democracy in America”…“Caeserism in America” or such.

And as for a no-fly zone over Aleppo, ministers have been calling for that over here in the British Parliament. I agree that with Russian fighter jets pounding hospitals and orphanages to ashes as they turn Aleppo into today’s Grozny, with the old-fashioned Russian proclivity for mass civilian death, that attempts to police the airspace risk a disastrous confrontation.

But we are running out of options and even Pope Francis has called for something drastic to be done - warning the Russian airmen that they will face the “wrath of God” for a humanitarian tragedy that far outstrips the Luftwafe’s bombardment of Guernica in 1937.

In 1991 the US and Britain imposed a successful no-fly zone over northern Iraq to protect the Kurds. In theory, it is plausible but the risks are massive.

One cannot stand idly by and watch a serial killer mutilate his victims, however, with an unblemished conscience. That is what Trump advocates.

Clinton at least has expressed a desire to impose American moral leadership. Trump wants to abdicate that leadership to act the sycophant for Putin.

But do I support a no-fly zone? No, because I don’t want the Syrian Civil War to become a hot war with Russia. But I can perfectly well understand why many would feel drawn to out out of compassion for the victims of the Russian aerial assault.

In short, a boorish man is terrifying (Truman was too, and LBJ was boorish well beyond Trump; JFK was astonishingly immoral) while an air war with Russia is not.

A very common view of things here as, apparently it is in Britain as well. And breathtakingly misguided. It truly boggles the mind.

Surely both Shakespeare and Chaucer will soon be banned in Britain as being “crude” and “boorish”. Prigs in America once assayed to do that, so it wouldn’t be without precedent.

So it looks like Mr. Trump thinks that even Chris Wallace is corrupt and gave Hillary the debate questions ahead of time.

debate.
