This is a straw man. It isn’t his use of “vulgar language” that’s offensive. It’s the action he describes taking when using vulgar language. I’m no shrinking violet. And I’d dare say Howard Stern isn’t either. Yet both of us and plenty of others can recognize language gleefully describing sexual assault when we hear it.
Hey gracepool, we should be happy our brothers and sisters are admonishing and correcting us poor “third party-sinners” so we can be saved!

Goes back to the groupie thing. If you don’t understand groupies you will never understand what they were talking about
That sounds like the excuse my brothers and I tried to use. It’s his fault I did this.

Sorry, if Mr. Trump did any of the things he talked about, he is the one who gave into temptation. If he were Catholic, he would be the one who needed to go to Confession. There are those who would say that even suggesting such things to others could have caused another to stumble, which Jesus Himself spoke against.

So, could we all agree to stop trying to justify his words. They were bad and deserving of a mouth washing with soap.

What the heck? Now we are sinners who need to be admonished by you? I am a sinner, I don’t deny that for an instant, but it is not for THIS reason. I’m doing nothing wrong at all here. 🤷
I never called you a sinner … the person said no one can talk to them about morals except their priest … that is a fallacy …

We are called to instruct, inform and work towards a moral life …

NO where in my post did I even address any specific action, person or stance - other than the statement that only a priest should or could address a person on moral issues

Thus you are either reading too much into my post - or your conscience is bothering you

I read that regarding the plane incident, there was a person sitting nearby who said that nothing happened. "Donald Trump’s campaign says a British man is countering claims that the GOP presidential nominee groped a woman on a cross-country flight more than three decades ago.

The man says he was sitting across from the accuser and contacted the Trump campaign because he was incensed by her account — which is at odds with what he witnessed.

“I have only met this accuser once and frankly cannot imagine why she is seeking to make out that Trump made sexual advances on her. Not only did he not do so (and I was present at all times) but it was she that was the one being flirtatious,” Anthony Gilberthorpe said in a note provided to The Post by the Trump campaign."
““She wanted to marry him,” Gilberthorpe said of Leeds, who apparently made the confession when Trump excused himself and went to the bathroom.”
thegatewaypundit.com/2016/10/list-debunked-groper-allegations-corrupt-media-donald-trump/
"Mindy McGillivray says Donald Trump nudged her at a concert at Mar-a-Lago at a concert on January 24, 2003. She went public with her story this week.

There was no such concert at Mar-a-Lago on January 24, 2003."
And this?

:console:

Emotions are running so high right now. I think everyone is raw and suffering. I’m so thankful that God knows my soul, and I’m sure you’re thankful for the same.

Yes! I hope this doesn’t continue after the election. It’s making CAF not be fun anymore. 😦

I did not speak regarding support for Trump, Clinton or 3rd party - not one action person or stance - other than the statement that only a priest should or could address a person on moral issues so Convert in 99 assertion is offensive

Like I said…if I want someone preaching to me on morals it will be my priest…enough said.
I have seen people on here say there is an “ignore” button that can be engaged so one doesn’t see a particular person’s posts. One can always do that if, indeed, it exists.

But without meaning any personal rancor, I respectfully decline to stop telling the truth about the morality of promoting abortion and acting to destroy the Church.

Trump is not Catholic and can’t be held to Catholic standards. If that were the case, Hillary would not be running, so please don’t pull that!

I agree entirely. But I do not think this justifies failing to oppose an avowed promoter of abortion and enemy of the Church.

That is a new case which needs to be looked into.
How do you answer to the debunking of the other incidents?
All of the other incidents have not been debunked, and he bragged about actions which were then confirmed by women. Let me be clear: if all of these allegations are disproved, I will be very happy for all. But given his choice to boast about the same actions women have accused him of, I’m not altogether certain that will happen.

I don’t know why you’ve quoted my post here.

Can you tell us the details of Trump’s plan for the national debt? One really ought to realize that if we get full and well-paid employment in this country, interest rates will rise, inevitably. If they do, so will rates on debt instruments of all kinds. Because the bond markets always discount to the current rates, “old” debt (of which there is plenty) will be devalued, not by Trump but by the market itself, and without hurting the economy at all. The Fed itself could buy back “old” debt at a discount, as could the Treasury. If they don’t then someone else will, and always at a discount.
It is true that many issues are being traded at a premiums but the recent Congress was actually debating Trump’s plan of paying back 85 Cents on the dollar, meaning that bondholders would get a haircut on top of a discount. Bottom line is this: Would you lend money to someone who habitually looks for ways to get out of paying you back what he owes you?

He didn’t brag about those “same actions”, of course.

Maybe not Catholic standards, but Sally is stating he should be held to some basic common decency standards. He’s running for POTUS, we can expect more from him now then when he was just a billionaire celebrity figure. 🤷

I don’t know why you’ve quoted my post here.
Because you quoted Convert in 99 where they accused me calling them [3rd party voters] sinners people were supposed to ‘admonish’ and offered them a hug …

my post did not say that

So just because of this, you support someone who lies to the FBI, supports abortion on demand, wants open borders, thinks Obama care is ok, tells the public one thing while believing something else, let Americans die in Benghazi, accepts money from countries that look at women as second class, and divides people into baskets!!!REALLY!!!

He’s bragging, in part, about kissing women without their consent – and the women who’ve confirmed this action have described being disgusted and surprised by it.
He’s bragging but again Trump states verbatim they let - even in regards to kissing them. “It’s like a magnet. I just kiss. I don’t even wait. And when you’re a star, they let you do it.”

The women have claimed (it’s a claim) Trump has kissed them without their consent, but Trump denies it. It will have to go to a Court of Law for a final decision. The timing of their claims makes it questionable. I believe it’s unfair to judge Trump on this until it’s proven. People are condemning Trump and labeling him as a sexual assaulter/groper, even before he has an opportunity to prove himself innocent in a court of law and without any proof. It’s unfair justice.

He is running as a Christian. Jesus said we are not to be an occasion of sin to others before the Church said it.
