The New York Times conducted a major investigation into Trump’s treatment of women and came up empty-handed. The Washington Post hired 40 investigative reporters to look into every aspect of Donald Trump’s life. All they could come up with was a tape recently leaked.
This is good news, then. I was simply noting that accusations against Trump haven’t only started recently. There’s a decades-long history of them.

Not according to the NY Times of the Washington Post that have spent hours trying to find serious indications of any wrongdoing with Trump.

It’s out of line because while I referenced my children as reason to excuse my quick response to another poster, you referenced my children regarding voting for a pro-abortion candidate. My children aren’t yours to speak of. Your comment is out of line because you consistently assume that anyone who isn’t voting for Trump is not anti-abortion. This is both factually incorrect and highly uncharitable.
I’m sorry, I can’t see it any other way! If people are anti abortion there is only one choice! (Pun not intended)

Jill Harth came forward in '97.

I need to be clear, though, that I don’t dismiss these accusations based solely on their timing.

Why is it that some (most? all?) Trump supporters think that not falling all over ourselves trying to excuse or ignore his lack of leadership means that we are Clinton supporters?

Just a reminder for everyone who has not yet participated in early or mail-in voting:

:okpeople:THERE ARE MORE THAN TWO CANDIDATES RUNNING IN THIS ELECTION!

:o

OK, I’m done here. Need to go get a throat lozenge after all that shouting…

*Personally, I’m going third party in this election.
:rotfl: 👍👍

Again, I am not challenging any of these points. None of them, of course, make sexual assault conducted by anyone else morally acceptable.
I did not say it did … I asked you how you felt about it …

AND while I hear your argument - all the angst is directed at Trump and only Trump and it only seems to be important in this election year - not in previous years and not with Democratic candidates … and probably not in the next election = unless its a Republican

And with Gore - this was relatively recent times … yet it was barely covered in the Oregonian and not anywhere else in the entire Country - not on cable news, not the NY Times - barely a mention …

I am amused at “the Arnold” coming out and not supporting Trump 🤷 really now … at least Trump does not seem to be fathering children with the nanny … but Arnold - though a Republican - had deep Democratic roots

The other thing I find amazing is the angst over the terms used … Clinton and his Pal Jordan used the same word - no hysteria then… CNN’s Cooper called those who supported the Tea Party - “Tea Baggers” which IMHO is so much worse - on Cable News and that term seemed to be picked up and used by every news outlet when covering the Tea Party… all with no hysteria …

Hillary said - with a straight face - that Trump’s audio made him ineligible to occupy the White House - when the entire world knows what Bill did in the Oval Office with a cigar and Monica …

And all of this Trump stuff is more important than the murder of innocent babies, mishandling and disclosure of Classified information, selling ones political office to the highest bidder, lying to the American Public, Congress and the FBI in addition to the coordinated direct subversion of the Catholic Church by Clinton Democratic operatives …

And yes - there are more than two candidates but not one of those other candidates has a snowballs chance of being the next president … that is a fact - we may not like it - but it is a fact … and the SCOTUS will be shaped by one of the two - to be either more favorable towards innocent life or less so … millions of lives - not a few, not some, not many lives … but millions od innocent lives

Hours? It doesn’t take that long, they must have bern doing it wrong. 😛

Since a few users here don’t like this statement, perhaps you should say “viable candidates that have a better chance of winning electoral college votes in more than one state.” 🙂

Keep looking you might find a bit more.

Jill Harth is the same women who claimed she would vote for Trump earlier this year. Jill Harth and her husband George Houraney filed separate civil lawsuits right after they didn’t receive a contract with Trump - again the timing here. He sued for breach of contract and she alleged attempted rape. Trump settled with her husband, George Houraney, not Jill Harth, and as a condition of the settlement, Harth withdrew her case. Let’s not forget in Jill Harth’s emails sent to Trump in 2015 and 2016,she offered her services as a makeup artist to Trump and stated: “I have always been very fond of Donald and I CARE about him as he helped me see the light and get out of the very damaging and abusive relationship I was in. I am so different and much better than I was before."

And have you talked to his spiritual director? - Did you witness Trump doing any of this? Are you equally as excited about the [new] woman who just came out about what Bill did to her years ago?

The recording is from 11 years ago … are you a better Christian today than you were 11 years ago …? All the allegations are from years ago - some 30 years ago …

Lets not talk about the dignity of the office - we all know what FDR, Kennedy, Johnson and Clinton did in the office … and that are all celebrated men of the Democratic Party - And the womanizing of all of them was a known quantity by at least some before all of them were elected - and with Bill Clinton - by the electorate.

And time can be a relevant factor- but perhaps not in the way you would want to judge Trump … Remember, Jesus and the parable of the Vineyard … all the workers got the same days pay whether they started at Dawn, Noon time or just before quitting time …
I want people to stop justifying his words if the main reason to vote for him is abortion. Just say he was and is a sinner (like me) and the only reason to vote for him is abortion.

Which is why your vote means nothing except make YOU feel justified. You have done nothing to advance anything! Nice Job
No one’s vote means nothing. Each of us is exercising our civic and moral duties when voting. The anger driven by this highly contested election cycle should not drive us to anger directed at one another.
