So he’s offering insurance which doesn’t cover pre-existing conditions. And people fall for that fraud?

Prior to all this “government insurance”, I was able to shop around … except where prohibited by Senator Ted Kennedy, D-Mass, R.I.P. who outlawed me from interstate shopping.

The premiums then were NOTHING like what people are being charged now.

NOW, we can shop around.

Agreed. Even those of us who think the ACA was at least a step in the right direction call it “Obamacare.” It’s fine.

You were always able to shop wherever the state regulators allowed it. Not necessarily at the same premium, though. Blue Cross, for example, offers the same policy to four states, yet Cook County with arguably the better hospitals may charge a higher premium.

Anyone who undermines the state regulators is exceeding his authority IMO.

And if nothing else the ACA got rid of those pesky underwriting departments and overinflated sales commissions.
