the president will be addressing the nation soon. Prayers for all those in Syria.

The consistent message should be - you do this to humans, we do this to you. Everytime…

Enough is enough. TAKE THEM OUT. Any government that thinks it’s ok to gas innocent men, women and children deserve what they get, in this world and the next.

Does anyone think the people who will replace Assad will be better? They most likely won’t. Most of the opposition have Islamist militancy tendencies. Look them up. Let’s assume that non-sectarian people were installed (even though the whole idea is complete fantasy), we know the fate of these people, they are weak and will get toppled. Look at Libya. The problems in the Middle East and Afghanistan can’t be solved by the West, Russia, China, Brazil or any country outside the region. It is up to them to decide what they want. The role for the rest of the world is to help the *most *vulnerable.

Lol yes let’s go to war with a Russian ally, that will save lives

Trump has sold out. I assume he’s been compromised by NWO Globalists.

At least we can rest assured Trump is NOT in the pocket of Russia.

I feared this when Flynn was forced out and then Bannon. It appears he’s going to alienate his core base of support, which will pretty much leave him friendless.

This was assuredly coordinated with Russia, just like airstrikes under Obama were coordinated with Russia and Russian airstrikes were coordinated with us.

Trump gets to look tough with no real damage to the Assad administration or Russian forces. Win-win for everyone, especially the contractors who built the $70 million-odd of cruise missiles used.

Praying for Syria tonight and that the civil war there will be over very soon and they can have peace and rebuild their lives. :signofcross::gopray2::signofcross:

Very true. The US does not need to get bottled up in another quagmire…

His base will stick with him through thick and thin-----that’s for sure.

I personally tend to go for this-----HOWEVER, the opposition in Syria is already demanding much more than this. And Trump will almost certainly be pressured to g all the way and bring troops. I fear this could turn into another Iraq-style war.

And Russia, of course, gets to get away scot-free…🤷 😦

And some conservatives are already saying he should have asked for congressional approval. Ron Paul will certainly rake Trump over the coals for this. (And rightfully so, I might add). :o

Hopefully this will be resolved without the need for further blood. OTOH, I admire Trump’s willingness to go through with his threats. Prayers for everybody concerned.👍

I fear this could turn into another Iraq-style war. He campaigned on staying out of foreign wars. Hopefully, this “response” will be limited.

Maybe, for the first time in his life, he’s more concerned about doing the right thing than success and popularity.

This is not a good move on his part. We need to stay out of these perpetual wars
My view is that the US, after taking so much from the rest of the world for so long, is morally obligated to use its tremendous resources and wealth to fight oppression in other parts of the world. It is the only way for the US to redeem itself at this point.
