I am not a foreign agent.
What you and other members may have a problem understanding is my border less heart.
I love humanity and when I think of humans and care for them it’s without frontiers. This does not prevent me from caring very much about the two countries I consider my own.
It’s works the same with family. When my grandmother past away who raised me, an elderly neighbor came to me and asked me to help her get the domestic worker who had been working for some years at my grandmothers. The woman explained to me that her husband had a stroke and it was just her and him at the house as her two sons were living in Canada and it was really difficult for her to care for him and lift him etc. I told the woman I would what I could to help and direct the worker to her. I spoke with the worker and explained the needs of the couple. Well, when a cousin who had four young children learned of the arrangement I made, she came to me and said how can you give her away to strangers? You are suppose to help your family first and I need help with the children.
I was surprised by how her mind worked. She thought that I had to help a family member first even though there was someone else that needed help more so. I explained that the elderly couple had a greater need than her and stayed at the house all day. When, she, on the other hand, was young and healthy and new half the town and could much easier find some else than the couple. The good thing about the worker was that she was strong and would not have a problem helping the elderly bath, get up from a chair or the bed. And, well, that’s just who I am with no apology.
Same thing for people who are suffering, no matter the country, race, or what have you. Back in '83 I was doing the process with the nuns of Mother Theresa to go and spend two years in Calcutta helping Mother Theresa. I was also applying to the only and one university I wanted to continue my education. So, whatever went thru, that was what I was going to do. I was accepted with a full scholarship and decided to continue my studies.
I wanted to go and help, even though I wasn’t Indian - just like Mother Theresa wasn’t. It’s a thing of the heart. When Israel bombed Lebanon, Mother Theresa wanted to go and help. There is a humorous video on Youtube of an interview of the Lebanese in charge of the interior at the time. He says, that he wasn’t crazy about the idea of having a saint come in given all the stuff he was in middle of with the bombing and the deaths and then to on top of that be responsible as well for her safety. But, it all worked out. But, you see - she was moved. She wanted to be with those that were suffering and help. Some people are like that and I am one of them. But, a lot of people do not understand us.
You don’t have to be a saint to be this way. Some people do such things from the mouth out or for ulterior motives but, that is a totally different thing than from the heart. Hilary Clinton went and spend an afternoon with Mother Theresa and made sure to had taken pictures. Then, when she was ‘running’ for senator of NYC she used them to promote herself. Mother Theresa’s nuns demanded that she stop using her image and that the image belonged to them and that she is misusing it given her support for abortion which is something Mother Theresa condemned. Well, Hilary stopped and the nuns won. Today, Hilary is being offered some honor from Planned Parenthood - that she deserves.
Furthermore, I want to say that I respect people’s and believe they should have the freedom to think and speak for and own their own. I don’t think it is correct to try to control the information the public gets in order to promote my own understanding and impose it on them.
I once had a professor who would print whole books for each member of the class or rip off the preface, introduction, or any analysis provide and just leave the ‘bare text.’ This so we ourselves would make our own evaluation of the ancient/modern text and not be influence by what someone else thought about. When you conduct a good research, you read every thing you can on the topic and then you decide with your own brain what you think etc… Same thing with politics. It’s good to hear and learn all you can from all the sources and decide what is going own. To try to prevent this and push a publishing source that promotes your position or understanding - is highly dishonest.

Thank you for sharing though this post is not directed at me. It is easier to understand a person’s point of view knowing where they came from.
It seems you are a compassionate person. That is nice of you and a credit to Christianity, a belief you uphold.
I am not sure your position on Trump’s punitive strike at Syria’s airbase in retaliation for the gas attack as I do not read all the posts but I hope you can see the rationale (for the strike).
As mentioned by Trump today, it was “to prevent and deter the spread and use of deadly chemical weapons."
It was just that – punitive and hoping that Assad would not do it again. At this stage there is no escalation in that area and now Trump quickly cools the situation somewhat by giving assurance that he will not move into Syria.
It is worthwhile to note that Putin said he would not shoot down any missiles that attack Assad, thus preclude any direct confrontation between the two super powers.
So basically Trump’s strike was to impose losses on Syria by destroying one airfield and some planes (Pentagon claimed that one fifth of their air force capability is being reduced from that strike).
The strike also was an action which should be done by Obama when Assad crossed the ‘Red Line’.
I am interested in your sharing because your compassion would certainly goes well with those eighty seven people including children being gassed, expiated and killed by Assad chemical weapon attack.
Trump’s strike on Assad’s airfield can be seen from the compassion of seeing those children died cruelly in the hand of a despot who resorted to chemical weapon. And that Assad had to be punished – not by killing him or civilians but by destroying what’s valuable to him – his weapon of choice which carried out the chemical attack.
Would you not agree to that?

I think he’s on the right tract.
The larger picture, as I see it considering the history behind these events, is that when the west was pushing to flatten out Iran, and China and Russia said they would defend Iran if it was attacked, a lot of strategics military moves were made as if the west would be pursuing attacking Iran,irregardless if it meant was with China and Russia. I was astonished that this possibility would left on the table.
A lot has happened since those heavy weighted words were uttered which must be upheld. There was the situation with Ukraine and Crimea; missiles on the border of Russia, China countered with missiles on its border with Russia to defend Russia and herself, West started arming Japan, West worked on creating regional problems for China to weaken it, NATO meeting held in I think it was Scotland where it was decide each country must increase the arms and military that would be made available by investment 2% of its annual income, financial arrangements were make as well as trade deal between Russia, China and Iran, and this whole thing about North Korea has to do with weakening China. This North Korea thing is not simply about North Korean and the North Korean president and the other leaders are very aware of this. For one of the things that has been happening has been that the west has been developing the bases in South Korea and strengthening its military power in South Korea and this has not been for North Korea but in preparation for war with China. But, the military activities threaten Kim Jong-un and he started to develop his military force and arms. President of China Xi Jingpin is playing the game to buy time to get his military where he wants it. So, there is more than meets the eyes.

Yes, but these groups were also armed by the US in overthrowing Assad before they broke away and became ISIS, or some other group fighting for control of Syria. And when they broke away, why would the USA be serious about combating them when they are currently fighting Assad forces in Syria?
Thus, while ever the US policy is to remove Assad, I will not take their resolve of destroying ISIS seriously. Not only that, but will be further angered if I hear of aid (weaponry etc) being given to rebel groups in and around Syria.

President Kennedy had a cool accent and a great haircut.
Kennedy was surrounded by gorgeous women.
But Kennedy also covered up his medical condition which should have kept him out of the Presidency.
AND Kennedy screwed up the Bay of Pigs invasion and turned it into a complete fiasco. [He cancelled the U.S. Navy airstrike, which doomed the Cuban exiles.]
And Kennedy’s weakness at the Bay of Pigs led directly to the Russians [they were the Soviets back then] bringing huge numbers of missiles of all sizes and nuclear warheads into Cuba. Except for the calm heads of two or three low ranking pilots and submarine officers, we would have been in an all out nuclear war.
So, while President Kennedy may have spoken with a neat accent and he may have photographed well, he was also arguably the worst president in American history. Some of his cabinet members were terrible, as well. Kennedy brought with him Robert Strange McNamara who clearly was the worst defense secretary in American history and served for YEARS afterwards under President Johnson and Secretary of State Dean Rusk left a legacy of overtly anti-American ambassadors we are still suffering from.

Then do not take it seriously and be angry if you want. It is the American way it seems.
I think the key to positions is what news is factual, what is conspiracy theory and what is deliberate deception. For myself, I know it is nothing new to oppose dictatorships, as dictatorship is nothing new for Russia. While I do not trust Trump’s overall hawkishness, I do not for one second think Obama was overly aggressive in promoting democratic values. On the other hand, I see a shirtless Vladimir Putin, involved militarily in Syria, getting a needed warm water base, invading the Crimea, attacking the Ukraine.
This conflict seems pretty one sided to me, based only on the facts that I do know and disregarding the unknowns. In time, if he stays in power, I think we shall see the ineffectiveness of appeasement, as history has always shown us.
Just for kicks, I looked up Alex Jones and his ilk to see what they thought. Nailed it. NeoCons pushing to invade. Possible conspiracy over this chemical attack being faked

Except there was no nuclear war and the missiles were removed from Cuba. If the President bears the blame for the Bay of Pigs (and he does), he must also receive credit for having the Russian missiles removed, and probably saving the country.
Blaming a leader for mistakes and crediting everyone but him or her for success is partisanship.
Also, he initiated before his death the passage of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.

Dear Reuben J,
Thank you for giving me the opportunity to respond to your question. I apologize for the delay. I’ll try to give this post a personal touch as well. I am not the type of person to talk politics for fun while drinking a cold beer as a pass time. To me, politics and international relations are serious topics as based on our individual knowledge we can encourage or discourage the suffering of many human beings and crimes against humanity. I even considered International Relations as a mayor and was once even offered the position back in 1992 of Assistant to the Director of the International Relations Program at Columbia University. I declined as two months had gone by and I had not heard back and had already moved to Europe. To say, that is how serious and how important I think the topic is, that I could even take it as a job. I put the interest of humanity first and above any favorite political candidate, party, and even when and if I have to face the fact that my own government is not the good guy in a mess.
My love for humanity is complimented by my great appreciation for culture, race, language, music, architecture, dance and customs. I appreciate the different cultures of the world and believe we should work to preserve them. To me, they make the world that much more beautiful and colorful. I have always wanted to travel the whole world because I appreciate it all. But, with the love and appreciate comes a lot of pain, like to witness the destruction of the Middle East and the crimes against humanity (Iraq, Nimrud, etct…) the beautiful caves of Afghanistan once so appreciated by the shepherds who roamed the beautify valleys around are now prohibit to humans, because they along with regions of Iraq have been contaminated with Depleted Uranium. Soon, there will be no pyramids to visit. Look at the Christians who had been there since the time of Chris who have been uprooted. Portions of countries’ populations have been uprooted in the ME and the towns left in rubbles. Yet, no one is responsible – is this thing call ISIS or Free Syrian Army or whatever but really is no one, is like an an evil wind that is going around and around killing here and there. A movement that went out of style? The winners write the history. Right now, 7 million people are on the verge of dying from hunger as a result of war engineering. If the Yemenis do not get immediate help they will begin to die. Take a look are the Palestinian Concentration Camp Gaza; the calories the are provided per person are counted.
On an earlier post, I provided a link to a presentation by a nun living in Aleppo. I forget what my point was for doing so at the time and I am not going to go dig up now. Nonetheless, the nun says that it has surprised her that such horror is going on in Syria and what the actual situation is (not a “Civil War” but west destroying the country and in the worst way - attacking civilians and slowly bring down all the structures to rubble vs. military against military) and that in our date and age with modern technology and social media word somehow has failed to reach the people of the world of what is really going on. In that same video, there is a picture of a christian woman who is tied to a pillar of a building that is in the corner of the sidewalk. She has been tied there by the so-called rebel forces/Free for passers by to hit her until she renounces Christianity and she just hangs there bent in two ready to die. The picture brings to my mind, Jesus, at the scouring in the pillar.

I am listening to a catechism course of 303 videos on Youtube. It is great! I am learning a lot and really enjoying it (sorry it’s in Spanish). One of the things I just learned is that the CCC was put together because the faithfuls we interpreting Vatican II differently. Neat. The course was transmitted via Radio Maria in Spain and prepared and present by Monseñor Munilla. It’s the best presentation I have heard as the monsignor keeps the intellect entertained and is well spoken. youtube.com/watch?v=d19Q10OzUxs&t=1649s Well, in one of those videos, he mentions a popupar expression “La fe del carbonero” (the faith of the coal maker) which references those faithfuls who have faith and practice it but don’t ask them too many questions.
The monsignor talks about how we have a duty to learn and be able to give others an explanation for the faith that is us. We should all aim to always improve out knowledge even though there will always be the carbonero.To borrow the term and apply it to politics; the carboneros in politics tend to be young as they do not have much context to evaluate the situation (and those that do not really care or are interest). These groups are vulnerable and believe what ever an authority thru controlled median is trying to feed them to gain popular support (e.g. a pretty face Nikki at the UN showing pictures of children and claiming a big bad monster for a sovereign country did this to his own people. They chew and swallow all the defamation of character (the president of such a country is another Hilter etc… and this is so effect that what some come to want to do is nothing else than to go to that other country and kill that man to be a hero. And due to their limited knowledge they swallow what they are being fed. If they stopped to think, they would want a serious investigation. There is a Spanish saying that goes: “El Diable no sabe por Diable sino por viejo.” that is; the Devil doesn’t because his the Devil but because he is old.

Let’s distinguish another group of the population which is very to mind controlled used to decieve the public to gain support. Let’s call this group – the pigeons. Because it’s members behave like groups of pigeons moving there head and doing there thing; but then they hear some of loud noise and they all flap their wing and fly up a little then come down and settle as they were. These people get all alarmed and eager watch the action (this week a bombing in Syria, and settle down, interesting; another bombing in Syria oh, frightening and fly up and settle back down again, oh, nuclear threats in Korea fly up and settle down, oh a huge bomb dropped in Afghanistan fly up and come down and until the next noise.
Let us not leave that contributing to this control, these types of vulnerable who consume the lies and deception; is fed intentionally bits of information which makes it difficult to make sense of since they don’t have the whole story but are sensationalize; and misinformation, lies etc…
Now, because of personal interests of mind; somehow my little circle of life has been mixed at time or near the circle of prominent American political families, foreign families or due to people I have known etc… and I come to know things that the common person walking down the street may not know. Such as for instance, in the spring of 1991 I was invited to a presentation regarding what now after the collapse of the Soviet Union. It was presented by a power permanent DC official whose face the public will never see. The answer, we will take over the Middle East to ‘help’ Israel and for the oil. The third goal – by passing – the environment. Would you finding hard to pretend you did not know this if you did? Can you dumb yourself down?
Administrations have come and gone since, but the plan has not missed a beat. Now, I have never heard of Robert Steele until MindyO provided that link. But, I can tell you that I agree with everything he is say up to the point where he starts to speculate. Seamus L, there are cold monsters behind the curtains and they wear ties. Did you see this link? The is commander who sold his soul to the infiltrators of Syria threatens CIA/Petreaus/MI6/Mossad/McCain et al that if they don’t give him what he wants he is going to tell about about about the chemical weapons. He out right says that what the ‘west’ wants is a slow war in Syria to bring it to rubles and not reconstruct for at least 50 years. But, the are not going to reconstruct.

Regarding the News Forum. I think it would be good if the discussion are open to mayor news papers around the world for open discussions. Labeling the position or statements of a poster as anti-semitic, white supremacist, or ult-right or all those things should be profited. We can upscale this form to be an excellent news forum by bringing it up to the level of lets say the philosophy forum e.g. no argumentum ad Hominen. If you don’t agree with something a poster said – ask they about. Take for example the meeting I mentioned that was held in Germany give some control and command of the USA military to Israel and how I thought that meeting should had been held in USA soil and very published. After all, it is Americans who send their children to serve their country and they trust their children are being entrusted to American General. I think it was an act of treason to hold that meeting in German and I have a problem with the fact that this was not publicly discussed and debated by congress. Now, instead of call some who is providing while information an agent for maybe knowing to much or some other name. Why not just simple for a link. Now, I just using that as an example because let me I do not have time to look for that link – this is just an example. But, who ever is indeed interested will find it in Google. Encourage discuss not try to shut a person up who hold a different understand than yourself.

Sorry about all the typos and stuff. And, I just want to add that all the NATO countries would have noted the failures of the missiles and mean while they are sending in their money for arms and planes etc. Are these going to work? Will McCain and Petreaus be charged with treason? Doubt it. They will bomb Russian and China - the plan will continue. The rich are buying in New Zealand in preparation as it is isolated and people will need yacht to get there etc…
