Data on how long it typically takes to get nominees confirmed by senate:
It is a power of the office,
What is the evidence for such disagreement?… in Case of Disagreement between [the two Houses], with Respect to the Time of Adjournment, he may adjourn them to such Time as he shall think proper;
According to the PDF I linked, the time it takes Trump to get nominees confirmed is not at all abnormal. In 3 of Obama’s years, the average wait time was longer.If you review the numbers, " Congress ignoring," seems specious.
Just wait until the next Democrat elected to the White House does it. The Republican’s heads will explode.I hope he does it
It is difficult to make sense out of an attempt to lame Trump’s contemplated assault on a change in the Senate’s rules. It might be argued that the Republican’s change to Senate rules on the voting for Supreme Court Justice is related, to what the Democrats did, but, in reality, the Republicans had a choice: roll-back rules changes that the y didn’t like, or go to greater lengths in what they ostensibly did not like. They chose the latter course. All on their own.Anything done that seems to breach protocol or longstanding tradition can be laid at their feet.
Does he honestly?While Trump has a legitimate beef about his appointees being held up
Every president is entitled to have the people he wants to work for him. He is also entitled to fire the people he wants to fire. Every president before Trump exercised that prerogative.Does he honestly?
