I would seriously need to pray about it. My first thought is there has to be a line in the sand somewhere. I will probably never cast a vote for Trump.

I don’t by that he is pro life he had doubted a very pro choice justice as a Supreme Court nominee.

Look I don’t agree with Hilary on abortion. But the reality is the country was not so bad off with her husband as President. We at least got a balanced budget and we did not get into World War III.

I would pray hard first but I may very well go third party or Clinton.
Remember how they got that balanced budget? Clinton was drug kicking and screaming to it.

Balanced budget because of Clinton negotiations with Kasich and the Republican controlled legislature.

Bill Clinton was an excellent President for this country and I believe that a lot of that excellency came in the form of constant assist from Hillary Clinton.

Electing Hillary is like having them both back at the helm of things. They are smart and they are compassionate and they know how to get things going.

I will agree with those who say that Bill Clinton had very real moral failings. Lots of great leaders have had moral failings. One of the lovely things about the Obama presidency has been the fact that it has not been riddled with scandal and the Obamas are a moral keystone for our world that makes sense.

I truly respect anybody’s vote in this race, though I personally cannot begin to understand an actual vote in the ballot box for Donald Trump. Trump is like our collective ID - saying what-the-hell-ever because it FEELS GOOD. Trump allows us catharsis. But Trump as POTUS…?! 😃 Just, so. much. no.

The poll is closed, but as a registered Democrat, I am very excited to help elect Hillary Clinton as the next President of the United States of America.

In any event, this has been a fascinating election season - so unpredictable and educational for those of us who have an interest in politics!
I’m genuinely curious, as a person who takes great interest in politics, what makes you prefer Clinton over Sanders? I ask this since you say you’re a registered Democrat.

Clinton is clearly more qualified to assume the position of POTUS. For me, that is undeniable. She’s more qualified than any person running for the job. I hope I don’t need to repeat her CV - I’m sure everyone’s aware of the positions she’s held and the work she has done and the leadership she has shown - whether or not you agree with the direction.

On a more personal note, Clinton is closer to the center of things and that’s how I prefer all of our leaders to be. Extremism is a poor position from which to govern.

So she is accomplished, she was secretary of state but what great thing in office did she do?

We’ve seen that whole area of the Middle East inflamed, a big scandal about computer email where the server was in a restroom in Colorado and top secret information was exposed.

Elected Senator of NY, one has to wonder if she was elected largely on being married to the former President, Bill Clinton and having that name-recognition.

I am proud of the leadership of the last eight years. It has not been perfect and I surely do not expect perfection from my leaders, simple humans like you and me. If you are not acquainted with the real and good things she has done for our country, then I will not convince you otherwise at this point and it is not important anyway! It is important to me that people vote their consciences.

Suffice it to say, I trust Hillary Clinton to lead our country. I will vote for her to do just that, and I believe that she will do it well.

Okay, so apparently, these “real and good things” can not be easily stated. Thank you.

Oh my. In general, I have enjoyed your active hand in this thread, but this is unnecessarily dismissive. Or maybe it’s not - maybe you really don’t know about her experience in governance.

And that is fine by me. I would only have you vote your conscience.

How so?
Her only project was Healthcare, on which she failed all around. After that she kept her nose out of running the Govt. Bill was a charismatic leader and capable politician (deal maker) on his own merits, not because of Hillary.

It sounds like you are spouting official talking points. Polls show they clearly aren’t trusted and more selfish than compassionate. For a character insights, you should read what retired Secret Service employees have observed, when the camera isn’t rolling.

Where have you been? The Obama admin has been riddled with scandal, just not of a sexual nature. And why such low standards for morals?

Trump is a capable leader/manager/negotiator, and a vote for him sends a message to the establishment that they must start delivering on their objectives, if they want support.

My conscience is Catholic and I could never vote for her. I’m just glad that in the general election your vote won’t matter.

We clearly see things differently. I certainly understand why Donald Trump is an appealing candidate to many. He just doesn’t appeal to me.

Every citizen should vote their conscience.

I disagree with that opinion, but I could understand how one who agrees with the Catholic Church’s position on the subject to honestly feel that way.
She wants unlimited Abortion. That is extreme and a position no Christian should accept.

Especially in the wake of Justice Scalia’s untimely death, someone needs to draft Mitt Romney. He’s the only adult in the room. Really.
