Trump or Hillary?

Suppose that Trump wins the Republican nomination and Hillary wins the Democratic nomination. (You can discuss how likely this in in the comments, if you want; for now, just run a thought experiment with me.) Would you vote for Trump or Hillary? Would you abandon your current party or typical voting block to do so?
 
I’m no Hillary fan, and I’m sure no trump fan. But if trump is the nominee I would vote, even for Hillary.
 
Note, if you are independent, just choose whichever side you typically tend towards (if any) and the candidate you’d vote for. If you really don’t tend towards any side, you can hit other and explain below. 😃

If those end up being our choices, I figure we’re doomed either way.

In which case, unless I can gain support for my idea of turning Indiana into a Catholic monarchy, I’ll be moving to Japan.

You do know how secular and blatantly unchristian Japan is, right? 🙂

Along with Canada, Norway, Great Britain, France, Germany, practically all of Western Europe, China…

Why a monarchy? Or was that a joke? :confused:

It is very unlikely. The Republican party would not allow Trump to be their candidate in the general election. Not going to happen. No way.
 
Trump’s position is much closer to that of hillary, and all of the abortions the DNC pushes.

I do not like Trump. I do not trust him, because of his past alignment with, guess who, Hillary. But Hillary would never get my vote. I do not knowlingly vote for anti-constitution progressive authoritarians.

I couldn’t vote for either one of them!!! I’m a strong Republican but I definitely do not LIKE Trump!!!

My thoughts as well. At least, I hope so. He’s already caused an enormous amount of damage to the Republicans in respect to many crucial voting groups.
 
HRC for sure! But I knew that the minute Trump went down the escalator.
 
If it’s a choice between Trump and Hillary, I choose moving to Yugoslavia, or Outer Volta, or Outremer, or Trebizond or Yamato and fighting extradition to my last dying breath 😃

A lot of people mention leaving the country, but they haven’t said which way they would vote. It would be premature to leave the country before the election.

He has expressed opposition to abortion.

I think it’s mostly in jest. Leaving the country would be expensive, and there’s no real reason to do it until the laws change substantially. For many conservatives, it is a nightmare scenario, though.
 
Doesn’t matter. Voters worry so much about who is going to be in the White House for 4-8 years all the while they vote to keep real crooks in office in Congress for 20-30 years, which is far more damaging.
