There can be many reasons for book being ignored. It is still speculation that the reason is that it is true.

How wound up do you want to get defending a man that had oral sex, with someone not his wife, in the white house? You can act as offended as you want but most everyone else is imagining his behavior isn’t any better now. He earned his reputation and whether it is ongoing or not, it is a monster he created.

btw, it’s comical to me that you used the word swallow.

Yes, though I think when it comes to it, some of those will make a choice. Not I. I will look for the most moral third party choice. If we are going to have someone for four years that I do not consider a moral choice for president, I at least want a loud message sent to the loser that a more sensible choice might have won.

well, it may be a few seconds after 26: 19. The reporter from CBS television 1988 speaks to Trump about his book, “Trump, the Art of the Deal”. She asks him what he thinks people will get out of it. Trump replies, “It’s really a study of life, Kathleen-How to do it and how to really make lies…how to be with lies and how to live lies.”

I’m going to assume that you really didn’t understand what he said rather than assume you’re in here falsely accusing him.

Yes my eyes did the same. I really was bracing myself to hear the worst of the worst, but this turns out to be a little funny.

Make no mistake - I’m not voting for Trump, but that video is not damning in the least. It makes me chuckle a bit because, for real, it is so easy to genuine things to rail about when it comes to The Donald. Let’s start with one that’s in our faces every minute - he struggles mightily with the concept of marital vows.

For the record, he cheated on his first wife but the second wife cheated on him and the third seems to be working so far. Not that it matters that much to you. 🙂

You’re right, it does not! 😉 And I certainly hope the 3rd time is a charm for him!

I actually like and appreciate Donald Trump. I do not think he is the best choice for our next POTUS, but I think he has helped unearth some important truths for our country and I actually think that deep down beneath all that Type A Alpha Dog Swagger, he has a good heart.

The word ends with an “s”. I had to listen to it over and over a few times myself. But if one listens to the whole video they will hear examples and listen to Trump explain what he means in his book , “Trump, the Art of the Deal” about creating his own hype by “accentuating the positive” which he calls “truthful hyperbole” “an innocent form of exaggeration.” He says, “To be successful in business you have to put up a good front. Life is not all sincerity. Life is an act to a large extent.”** Start listening at 52:53 **. There is a lot more in the video that I find quite disturbing including his treatment of farmers in Scotland over some land that he wanted to build a golf course on.
