Bolton was never in any position to start a war, he just used all the power he was given to push for the Iraq War and is now using all of his power to push for a war with North Korea.

The US never starts wars. Once we conquered the world we renamed the War Department the Department of Defense because we just defend our territory now. That territory is the whole world. Since then every war was started by someone else. Not that starting a war means the other side has to attack us. Often foreign countries have the nerve to imagine themselves sovereign. When they defy the US they’ve committed an act of war thus allowing us to bomb and, as is rarely necessary, invade them.
It is true Hailey hasn’t started war. She can’t. Only congress can, at least if you go by the law. We rarely do. We just bomb people as we find necessary. But we don’t call it war. That would be too honest.

As under secretary of state he promulgated false intelligence that Iraq had WMDs. He openly pushed for war in Iraq and when that war started he moved on to pushing for war with Iran. There were also accusations of intelligence manipulation but alas, that’s classified. That’s all the power he had in his position, and he used it to push for war like he will now.
Also good to know that the Hillary Clinton fairy still shows up when a Republican gets criticized.

It wasn’t false, because Iraq really did have WMDs. When did the Brits remove and destroy the last known ones? Wasn’t that 2014? The yellow cake, of course, went to Canada well before that, but after the war. If we knew the truth, they’re still probably finding some of them now and then.
As to his pushing for war with Iran, I think I would want some better authority for that than your mere assertion. It is a fact, though, that when the war started, Iran pulled away from the border.

Even if Iraq had WMDs (I’m sure they had some but not what was claimed as justification for invading) what does it matter? The US has more WMDs than any country on the planet. The US government promoted lies in the first Iraq war. It promoted lies in the second. The US government is always lying. Why would we believe them and their justifications for killing millions of people? Even if Iraq had WMDs they weren’t going to use them to attack the US.
