However, when we buy products, no matter where they are produced, I consider the GHGs involved to be our GHGs – including all those emitted along the materials economy line (extraction, shipping, production, distribution, consumption, and disposal).
So maybe you are off the grid with alt energy and drive an EV converted from an old ICE clonker (or bicycle or take public transportation) and assiduously practice Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle. So maybe you are not as culpable as the rest of us 7.4 billion people. That’s really great! We should all emulate you.
