Frankly, whatever the reality, I don’t see this as World news. It is more anger mongering click bait.
That would be true if it did not occur on a regular basis but that is not the case. I have seen news articles with at least 100 types of attacks on incidents since President Trump has been elected.

There have been 332 attacks up to today since President Trump took office according to one source of news.

Would you please provide the link so that report can be evaluated?

I would like to know what constitutes an attack in this report? I would like to klnow if the source probes whether the reports are true of false, or just reports allegations? Does the example in the OP count, or would that only count upon adjudication? Does the source provide baseline data so that one can assess if this number is anomalous as compared to the recent past? Does the source look at all politically motivated attacks or just those against Trump supporters?

I can do nothing about individuals unknown to me who procure abortions. I can oppose the political party that promotes them.

Way to duck the question.
People who used to be Dems (and that’s most Catholics, by way of example) know what I’m saying is true.
They are wrong, too. You really can’t back up any of your claims and want to blame Democrats for all abortions. Very odd.

My claims are only that one party backs abortion in its party platform, that its presidential candidates speak in favor of abortion “rights” and almost without exception votes pro-abortion.
If you don’t believe me, look at the ratings of National Abortion Rights League and the National Right to Life league. Both examine the voting patterns of the members of both parties, and both characterize nearly all Dems as “pro choice” in their voting and both characterize nearly all Repubs “prolife” in theirs.

Easy to research.

Oh, that’s fine. But that’s not what you are claiming. You are claiming
the Dem party […] essentially abandoned all of its values except abortion.
That’s the part you can’t back up, so you start backing off more and more from the exaggeration and hyperbole until you finally get close to facts. And I agree with

and guess what? Abortion is still legal. That’s 50 years of a failed approach with a ‘win’ for pro-lifers being the repeal of Roe v Wade where the vast majority of the population in the US will live where abortion will remain legal because the ‘pro-life’ Republicans can’t get urban (read: people of color) votes since they are perceived as racist.

So, if you want to stick in facts, great, because the post I am responding to is one of the most fact based ones I’ve seen you make. But, I have a problem with the exaggeration, hyperbole, insults and poor interpretations of Catholic teaching.

Thank you. It is getting more difficult to read the snide and accusatory remarks that have permeated this forum of late.

lower inhibitions which…etc…
Sexual activity outside of marital bonds results in the vast majority of babies being aborted. Period. I don’t understand why people that are ‘pro-life’ seem to readily deny this fact. It has nothing to do with beer drinking, but sexual behavior outside the teachings of the Catholic Church.

Where do you find statistics to back this up?
I posted this above in post 64 and some above. The abortion information was from Guttmacher and the live birth information was from the CDC. The link for Guttmacher is above post 64 somehwere. The CDC information is easy to find via google.

But the Dem party changed, and the most dramatic change was going all in for abortion.
Yes, that became apparent to me some time ago. And every time I think it can not get more “all in” than it already is, it gets worse. Now, abortion is practically the sole sacrament of the Deomcrat pary.

Violent leftists, like antifa, must be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

Leftists should not protect law-breakers.
What’s up with the pattern of making one line comments among a group of threads just before they expire while not adding anything of substance to the discussion in them? I have to question the intention here.

Does anyone know if the police have now reviewed video to see what happened?
