Who is a pro-birther?
Personally, I don’t have a problem being called “pro-birth”, in and of itself. (sure I’m pro-birth, just like I’m in favor of 1 year-olds turning 2, and 2 year-olds turning 3, etc.) But in practice if someone calls you “pro-birth” it is almost certain that they’re subtly or not-so-subtly implying that that’s *all *you are.

I’ve been criticized on this forum before (was it queenOfHeartSC or Ridgerunner?) for saying that there is such a thing as propaganda, but well there is.

So far, I have learned that Trump is the perfect candidate by his own admission, from the horse’s mouth, so to speak. He loves and cherishes everyone, including women, Mexicans, Hispanics in general, Muslims, everyone. He has more energy than Hillary, who, according to what he said this morning, lacks the energy to take care of women. He dislikes terrorism and wants to eliminate ISIS. Imagine that! He will build the Great Wall of Mexico and Mexico will gladly pay for it. He believes we can either have a country or not, and that means only legal immigration. But the illegals will eventually come back. He will get rid of Common Core in education and give control to the local communities and the parents, who, after all, are the real experts in education. He is pro-life with three exceptions, which he would like to be part of the GOP platform. He will be presidential at the right time, so presidential that he will be boring and we will want him to go back to the way he used to be. And most of all, most of all, he will “Make America Great Again”! Now, I ask you, can any of you beat that?
I realize your post in tongue-in-cheek, but in all seriousness, Trump has actually said all those things. No, I can’t beat that. I don’t know why anyone would want to. LOL

No, you’re attempting to deflect. Won’t work. Not with me.
Deflection is attempting to route a conversation away from the topic at hand. I was responding to your false claim that abortion has “nothing” to do with the “culture of death”. I didn’t bring up your false claim or deflect to it. You did. If anyone is deflecting, it is you.

When was his teaching authority removed?
It wasn’t. He remains a Cardinal. “Demotion” doesn’t mean change of position.

It’s a false dichotomy to claim the Holy Father and Cardinal Burke are on two different sides.

Alright, I wasn’t convinced that Trump’s fit to be president before now, but how can I say No to the perfect candidate? Don’t know what I was thinking. 😊

He was actually demoted, not once, but twice. Even the Holy Father calls it a “demotion,” but not a “punishment.”

"Burke, who has long been vocal about denying communion to Catholic politicians who support abortion, was dismissed as head of the Holy See’s highest court and given the post of Patron of the Sovereign Military Order of Malta, a largely ceremonial job overseeing charity to seniors.

“At 66, Burke is considered young by church hierarchy standards. The dismissal is a set-back to his Vatican career as well as a clear message from Pope Francis to those not hewing to his progressive view of the Catholic Church.”

Quite a demotion for a young Cardinal! From head of the Holy See’s highest court to overseeing charity to seniors!

I can’t imagine that Cardinal Burke considers it anything but a terrible demotion.

As I said, I stand with the Holy Father, not Cardinal Burke.

It would be were it not true. However, he was demoted twice. I don’t gossip or speak with those who do. I don’t say someone has been demoted unless they have been. Twice.

The Pope disagrees with USA Today:

Pope Francis has denied that removing American Cardinal Raymond Burke as head of the Vatican’s highest court was a “punishment” for his outspokenly conservative views at a recent summit of bishops, saying instead he wanted a “smart American” to serve as patron of the Order of Malta.

“It is not true that I removed him because of how he had behaved in the synod,” Francis said.

The pontiff said that the move was part of a broader restructuring of the Vatican bureaucracy that had been decided well before the October 5-19 synod of bishops on the family. The reason he waited until after the synod to make it official, he said, was so that Burke could still participate in the meeting as the head of a Vatican department.

I don’t think he was demoted because of what he said in the synod.

That’s disrespectful!
I think Cardinal Burke is being disrespectful to the Holy Father:

"In an interview with a Spanish Catholic weekly published last week, Burke said of the pope’s leadership: “Many have expressed their concerns to me. … There is a strong sense that the church is like a ship without a rudder.”

usatoday.com/story/news/world/2014/11/08/pope-francis-demotes-conservative-us-cardinal-raymond-burke/18710769/

So Cardinal Burke considers the Church a ship and Pope Francis a non-rudder? Now that’s disrespectful! Pope Francis is wonderful! He is a wonderful Shepherd!

There is nothing charitable in suggesting Cardinal Burke was demoted and lending false support to the idea that the Holy Father Francis is opposed to his teaching. Its not only UN charitable it is a sin of calumny. Pope Francis stated: “It is not true that I removed him
because of how he behaved in the Synod.” Are you suggesting the Pope is lying?

“demoted” - may have altogether different meaning than you proclaim. You are not interested in the opinion of a twice demoted Archbishop as you say in your earlier post.

Enough is enough, stop your campaign of pro abortion candidates of the Democrat Party.

You have a free will, you may choose to continue but do not expect others to respect your efforts.
