I read that somewhere already. Pure gossip, if you ask me. Or somebody is daydreaming And praying trump will drop out. Not gonna happen. The man spent 50 million dollars of his own money in the primary. He’s not a quitter.
And I take issue with it being “his” money. It’s the money he’s cheated and scammed from people, people very like those who support him.

If he’s not a sociopath, he has many sociopathic qualities. It makes you wonder about the people who would support a candidate like this.

Technically that’s not true. He lent himself the money and is now paying himself back from the money he raises. He makes it appear that he’s using his own money. He’s not

I’ve read many articles not only discussing his mental health, but also those of his supporters.

Not different rules, different actions. Business with Russian companies is not asking Russia for their desired positions on US foreign policy. If Clinton were doing the same thing as Trump, her foreign policy position vis-a-vis Russia would match Trump’s would it not?
Clinton accepted $150 million from Russia for approving the sale of 1/5 of the US uranium supply.

He forgave the loan to his primary campaign which means he’s not paying it back to his company. Right now in each months fundraising he’s matching a million dollars to every million raised.

Trump appears to be in full meltdown. He needs to duck and cover and hope the Olympics dominate headlines for a week or two. That will give him time to reset and try to actually run for President. There is time to do that, especially given Hillary’s extraordinary negatives. But if he does not make a major correction, he is on a path to a historic disaster.
That baby thing was the strangest bit of politics I’ve ever seen. I thought his original statement about liking the baby crying was genuine because that’s the sentiment I’m used to (Pope Francis has said he likes to hear babies crying during mass because they preach better then him). I finally saw the whole exchange on TV this morning and it was very weird, almost disconcerting. Some have speculated that he has early onset dementia.

If somebody is rich they must be evil. What an enlightening philosophy. And when attacking a candidate, never forget to disparage his supporters. Who cares if there is a democracy? Way to go!

Did he release the paperwork?

When Donald Trump said last Thursday he was forgiving over $45 million in personal loans he made to his campaign, the announcement drew plenty of coverage. Many even reported Trump’s statement as if the deal was done.
But it’s not.
At the time the story was published this morning, the FEC showed no filing from the Trump Campaign forgiving the loan. An FEC official also told NBC News this week that there was no digital or paper filing from the Trump Campaign forgiving the loan. And the campaign has repeatedly declined requests to share the legal paperwork required to execute the transaction.

Peccavi, most pro life groups I know of do not abandon the woman after she chooses Life. CPCs provide free baby supplies, parenting classes, etc. The local right to life group here has a mother’s help fund - monetary support for rent, groceries, car repairs… anything she needs help with. There is even a free diaper outreach for those in need for children until they are two…for single moms or those just struggling.

For those escaping domestic violence or forced abortion, there is a home for women and children that I support, run by the local Catholic Social services.
It’s an excuse to ignore Church teaching and vote for pro-abortion politicians. “Prolife groups don’t care about the baby once it’s born, so I can vote for the politician that supports killing the baby!”

It’s false, and the logic is ridiculous.

And? Socialism has been officially condemned by the Catholic Church as being contrary to the faith.
As I said the last time you made this claim, it is not quite true. The specific section in the catechism reads:
*
The Church has rejected the totalitarian and atheistic ideologies associated in modem times with “communism” or “socialism.” She has likewise refused to accept, in the practice of “capitalism,” individualism and the absolute primacy of the law of the marketplace over human labor. Regulating the economy solely by centralized planning perverts the basis of social bonds; regulating it solely by the law of the marketplace fails social justice, for “there are many human needs which cannot be satisfied by the market.” Reasonable regulation of the marketplace and economic initiatives, in keeping with a just hierarchy of values and a view to the common good, is to be commended*.

It is not socialism per se, but the totalitarian and atheistic ideologies associated with socialism in modern times. If someone or something is “socialist”, but without those ideologies, the Church does not condemn. It is interesting to note that the Church also condemns certain ideologies sometimes associated with capitalism, but does not condemn capitalism itself.

It is no more correct to say “the Church condemns Socialism” than it is to say “the Church condemns Capitalism”.

Maybe Donald Trump has really lost his mind: What if the GOP frontrunner isn’t crazy, but simply not well?

The Alzheimer’s Association tells us that if two of the following core mental functions seem impaired then it is time to seek medical help: Memory, communication and language, ability to focus and pay attention, reasoning and judgment, visual perception. Alzheimer’s carries other symptoms besides memory loss including difficulty remembering newly learned information, disorientation, mood and behavior changes; deepening confusion about events, time and place; unfounded suspicions about family, friends and professional caregivers; more serious memory loss and behavior changes.

Nice way to twist my words into something I did not say. I didn’t say rich people are evil. I said Trump got some of his wealth by cheating small business people out of money that they earned and from the scam that was Trump University.

Is it also disparaging voters who support blatantly racist candidates like David Duke? Perhaps you can tell me why any voter would support a candidate who is pretty clearly removed from reality, like one who makes a statement, later denies that he made that statement, and when provided with a videotape proving that he did, continues to deny it? Those are not the actions of a mentally stable person.

So, being a businessman or woman is offensive IF the business is successful in making money, providing jobs, etc. Politicians by and large are all lawyers to start with. Please check out the financial status of all the DC politicians. Every last one of them becomes a millionaire once they get to Washington and start making deals to line their own pockets out of OUR money. They don’t make anything but loophole laws for themselves, opt out of the horrible medical insurance they want to cram down our throats, opt out of the social security system we are all tied to, vote themselves wonderful retirement packages for the rest of their lives, even if they only serve for one term. You are ignoring the facts. The days of “Mr Smith goes to Washington” are long over. Originally politicians did their public service, then returned to the private sector and lived by the same standards as everyone else. There is no way that you can honestly believe that this is still true today.
Right on the mark! Let me add,NancybPelosi, made sure she(who by the way, is personally very wealthy) and other members of congress still got their yearly wage increase, while SS receipients didn’t enjoy a cost of living increase and the citizenry as a whole was treading water.
It never ceases to,amaze me that these wealthy liberal are allowed to talk out of both sides of their mouths. They claim to be for the little guy, while basically, hosing the little guy.

What proof do you have that trump is paying back his company using campaign funds? Why does your side never have to prove your claim? Like trump has alzheimers?

Watch it,I received an infraction for saying basically the same thing re John Kerry’s outrageous remark. What you just said is most uncharitiable, remember no personal attacks on candidates or their family members;)

The reason people choose a candidate not your own is because we have our own way of thinking. There! Is that acceptable to you? Is it ok that people don’t agree witht you when you say trump is a cheater, scammer, racist, mentally unstable?

n late October 2014, Nancy Pelosi’s husband Paul purchased between $100,000 and $250,000 in stock from green energy company Sun Edison. Just three weeks later, the company acquired First Wind, a wind power company. The purchase caused Sun Edison’s stock to soar 29%.
Coincidence? Or did Paul Pelosi act on information that came to his wife in her duties as House minority leader?

Hewlett Packard’s Meg Whitman joins CEOs endorsing Clinton

Calling Donald Trump an “authoritarian character” and a threat to democracy, Meg Whitman,** a prominent Republican fundraiser** and chief executive of Hewlett Packard Enterprise, endorsed Democrat Hillary Clinton’s White House bid late Tuesday.

“To vote Republican out of party loyalty alone would be to endorse a candidacy that I believe has exploited anger, grievance, xenophobia and racial division. Donald Trump’s demagoguery has undermined the fabric of our national character,” Whitman posted on Facebook about the Republican nominee.

In an interview with the New York Times, which first reported the endorsement, Whitman said it was time “to put country first before party” and that she would give a “substantial” contribution to Clinton’s campaign.

Whitman told the Times that Trump is a “dishonest demagogue” and said that those who look at other failed democracies and believe “it can’t happen here” are mistaken.

“Trump’s unsteady hand would endanger our prosperity and national security. His authoritarian character could threaten much more,” Whitman wrote on Facebook.
