Nope, Trump will suspend Congress and disband the Supreme Court. Then he will set himself up as dictator for life.

All one has to do is take a look at the trust Polls in the US government. Last I looked it was circling the drain at 19%.

Obama and Clintons incompetence destabilized the Middle East
John Hinderacker over at Powerlineblog.com writes:
You could call his actions in the region incoherent, except that it’s worse than that, especially if you take into account his hostility toward Israel. If a consistent principle can be deduced, it is that Obama wants to avoid doing anything that might advance U.S. interests. Maybe that’s the answer, or maybe he just doesn’t care enough to formulate a real policy. Be that as it may, one thing is clear: but for Obama’s feckless participation in the overthrow of Egypt’s and Libya’s governments,
Obama’s incompetence is an outgrowth of a broadly based Democrat ideology that wants us to believe that the war on terror was a stupid Bush idea. They accuse Republicans of exaggerating the jihadi threat. They smear any public figure who is concerned about the global Islamist war with the label “Islamophobe.”
Obama, along with many liberal Democrats, believes that American strength is immoral. We shouldn’t impose our views on other nations. So when the Muslim Brotherhood made its move last year, using the “Facebook revolution” as cover (and a very transparent cover it was), we abandoned Mubarak and told the Egyptian military to stand aside. We purposefully let the Middle East’s oldest terror organization take over the Middle East’s most populous country.
The Muslim Brotherhood is considered the father of the jihadi movement. It was adopted by Adolf Hitler under the Third Reich and grew from a languishing 10,000 members to a million strong by the end of World War II – Hitler’s permanent legacy for world destruction. Yet our president and State Department believe in embracing the Brothers as modernizing moderates.- American Thinker
Trump is questioning all this incompetence and telling the truth about it. No-one is buying the delusional WH narrative. Nor have they been for some time. Glad Obamas leaving soon maybe he’ll take an early vacation to Turkey or Yemen or something.

Trump Rehashes JFK Conspiracy Theory Linking Ted Cruz’s Father To Lee Harvey Oswald
“There’s a picture, and that’s the only thing I know,” Trump said.

I don’t understand why he is still talking about this.

Mike Pence was standing behind him during that tirade and he did not look happy at all. Until that point in Donald’s speech/rant, Pence looked uncomfortable but at least tried to smile. When Trump got to that part, Pence dropped the smile and looked completely ticked off.

(Warning there is at least one word of profanity on this post).

This is an analyses of poll data - here is an except:

"1960 August / September: Kennedy: 44% / Nixon 50%
Election Result: Kennedy wins 50-50

1968 July: Nixon 35% / Humphrey 40%
Election Result: Nixon wins 43-43
1980 June / July: Reagan 32% / Carter 39%
October: Reagan 39% / Carter 45%
Election Result: Reagan wins 51-41
1988 June: Bush 38% / Dukakis 52%
July: Bush 37% / Dukakis 54%
August: Bush 42% / Dukakis 49%
Election Result: Bush wins 53-46
1992 July: Clinton 40% / Bush 48%
Election Result: Clinton wins 43-37

2000 September: Bush 41% Gore 51%
October: Bush 40% Gore 51%
Election Result: Bush wins 48-48
2004 June: Bush 43% Kerry 49%
July: Bush 45% Kerry 50%
Election Result: Bush wins 51-48
2008 September: Obama 44% / McCain 49%
Election Result: Obama wins 53-46
2012 July: Obama 46% / Romney 46%
August: Obama 45% / Romney 47%
October: Obama 46% / Romney 49%
Election Result: Obama wins 51-47

Hence in 8 out of 14 elections since 1960 (57%), and five of the last seven, the person five points or more behind in the middle months actually won the election. Obama was 3 behind in October and won by 4 points. Only in 1996, of the last seven elections, was the actual winner consistently ahead all along."

“Trump is only 6 behind, according to the Real Clear Politics average of the last five major polls. He’s in great shape, then. In June 1980, Reagan was 7 behind; in June 1988, Bush Sr. was 14 behind; in June 2004, Bush Jr. was 6 behind.”

I think because he can and it for some reason doesn’t matter.
He did it because cruz said, while talking to Texas delegates the mornging after convention speech, the real reason for his convention stunt was because trump maligned his wife and father. Trump was simply saying he didn’t do much to malign them.

Of course this doesn’t matter. Trump didn’t lie about anything with regard to cruz.

He also did this. Does this matter to you? The same kind of trivial:

Trump was on Meet the Press this morning defending Roger Ailes as a, “very, very good person.”
But he’s been a friend of mine for a long time, and I can tell you that some of the women that are complaining, I know how much he’s helped them. And even recently. And when they write books that are fairly recently released, and they say wonderful things about him. And now all of a sudden they’re saying these horrible things about him. It’s very sad because he’s a very good person. I’ve always found him to be just a very, very good person. And by the way, a very, very talented person. Look what he’s done. So I feel very badly.
Got to wonder if this is what Trump meant when he said that he’d be good for women.

The DNC is really trying to stop Trump. This is no different than the RNC planning protests against Hillary or Bernie.

Nope, Trump will suspend Congress and disband the Supreme Court. Then he will set himself up as dictator for life.
Obviously not.
But he will be shocked to find out that he’ll have to cooperate with Congress, including possibly a Democratic Senate.
He will “use his pen” like crazy and I suspect that he’ll have an enemy’s list to put Nixon to shame. He has already said someone should “look into” Jeff Bezos, owner of the Washington Post. He probably also isn’t too happy with the high tech companies who usually donate GOP but this time are staying out or outright hostile.

My biggest worry is that I don’t believe he is the kind of person who will listen to advice.

From what he has said, I think he already knows this.

Don’t know. He is obviously listening to advice right now. He fired his old campaign chair and he has mellowed the last 3 weeks.

It’s much easier to worry about what trump might or might not do than to face what our leaders have already done or failed to do. Never mind he’s built a business empire. Sure you can do that without listening to advice.

He certainly promotes himself as if he did it all himself and I don’t find his so call business acumen impressive. He claims to be worth $4-5 billion (unverifiable). I’ve seen articles that if he had just invested his inheritance from his father in a market hedge fund he’d be worth $3-4 bn depending on fees, &c. His “success” comes from multiple bankruptcies, i.e., he legally screwed over his suppliers, debtors, investors, &c. I am not impressed.

A couple other things.
I find his “I alone can save you” disturbing.
I also think the fact that he views everything in the world as a business deal (including NATO commitments) shows how limited he is. He thinks he’s a master negotiator but I think Putin and the Chinese will find it pretty easy to play him.

To those who talk about Trump’s “bankruptcies”, I suggest studying up on Chapter 11, which is what they were. Chapter 11 is a “workout” like a consumer Chapter 13 is. You pay your creditors, but on the Judge’s schedule, not the creditors’ schedule. And without knowing what the plans were and how they worked out, nobody has any basis to talk about them.

Or do anti-Trumpers love Deutchebank that much that they would take Deutchebank’s part instead of Trump’s in their fight? Deutchebank tried to grab Trump’s assets. He sued them and backed them off. Ultimately, he paid every dime and they loaned him money again later. But who knows? Maybe Deutschebank is another giant bank that has bought Hillary Clinton, like Goldman Sachs did. And maybe that’s why Clinton supporters are blind to things like that.

There is not the slightest reason to believe Hillary Clinton would do better dealing with Putin or China than Trump would, and very good reason to doubt it. Negotiation really is a high art, and there’s a lot to it. Trump has successfully negotiated with the very best the U.S., at least, has to offer. The only negotiation Hillary Clinton has ever done was selling influence or selling out the interests of this country to enemies like Iran and business competitors like China. And the results have been just short of catastrophic. Selling out one’s country is not an admirable business skill.

It really is in this country’s best interests to remove the Clintons’ hands from the national cookie jar once and for all.

Well said.

This is good news! Hopefully millions upon millions of more minorities will follow his example at the voting booth when we choose a president!

Donald Trump has described Roger Ailes’ ousting from Fox News amid a sexual harassment scandal as ‘so sad’ because he is ‘a very good person’ - and slammed the accusers as ungrateful.
dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3705824/It-s-sad-Donald-Trump-defends-longtime-friend-Roger-Ailes-ousted-Fox-News-amid-sexual-harassment-scandal.html

I guess that Mr. Trump thinks these women should still be grateful to Roger Ailes despite the sexual harassment. And engaging in sexual harassment does not sound like something “a very good person” would do.
