It was an old website put up in 2012 and it had incorrect information on it; so it was taken down. Not sure why anyone other than the Hillary campaign would care.
I don’t think anyone cares, frankly. There was an article appearing in the Guardian that someone posted. I responded to that. The point is that she is saying she graduated with a degree in architecture. I don’t know any school that gives out that degree in one year. Usually it is rolled into a Masters and the architects I know have had to go at least 5 years to get that degree. This info has been out there since the plagiarized speech was reported. That all.

Wait. People are concerned about Melania Trump’s website, but when it comes to leaked security information, all they can muster is barely a 🤷 ?

This explains a lot.
Are you kidding? Have you seen all the information out there about the hacking? Russian hacks, Russians investing with Donald Trump, Paul Manafort being all tied up in this? Just because it isn’t being discussed here, doesn’t mean it isn’t being discussed elsewhere. It’s HUGE! And I’m sure we’ll be hearing a lot more.

I really have no idea about the website. But I know this, there are tons of reporters out there working 24/7 to hurt trump, if Melania had taken down the website, the story would have broken. You would be hearing about it until your head explodes.
The story has broken. It’s been out there for a week and a half. Trump is doing a good job in hurting himself. The reporters don’t have to work too hard.

I don’t think this is going to help him:

Republican national-security leaders trash Donald Trump in joint letter
The letter runs down a list of objections to Trump’s statements and foreign-policy positions. Their reasons are many, but a few of the most strongly worded are below:
His vision of American influence and power in the world is wildly inconsistent and unmoored in principle. He swings from isolationism to military adventurism within the space of one sentence.
His hateful, anti-Muslim rhetoric undercuts the seriousness of combatting Islamic radicalism by alienating partners in the Islamic world making significant contributions to the effort. Furthermore, it endangers the safety and Constitutionally guaranteed freedoms of American Muslims.
His admiration for foreign dictators such as Vladimir Putin is unacceptable for the leader of the world’s greatest democracy.
He is fundamentally dishonest. Evidence of this includes his attempts to deny positions he has unquestionably taken in the past, including on the 2003 Iraq war and the 2011 Libyan conflict. We accept that views evolve over time, but this is simply misrepresentation.

That is from March. Apparently, it didn’t hurt him.

Re the Melania trump website, I visited it a number of months ago. She had a short biography, some modeling pictures and some formal posed pictures of Donald, Barron and her. She also had some information on a cosmetic and costume jewelry line she sponsored. I am not sure that those lines are currently available, I don’t remember any way to purchase them.

It did look older, no reference that I can remember of the campaign. No big deal.🤷

Trump on tax returns: Look what happened to Romney
“I remember with Mitt Romney four years ago, everybody wanted his, and his is a peanut compared to mine. It’s like a peanut. It’s very small. Not nearly as big a document. I mean, mine, you saw the picture where it’s two or three feet high,” Trump said.
“Now, they finally got it in September. He decided to give it. And they found a couple of little minor things. Little things that didn’t mean anything,” Trump continued. “He did nothing wrong. By the way, Mitt Romney did nothing wrong. But when they gave them, they found a couple of little sentences. If you remember Harry Reid lied about it. He told a dirty lie. And Mitt gave that and after he gave it, they found a little sentence and they made such a big deal. He might have lost the election over that.”
In 2012, Reid said on the floor of the Senate that Romney had not paid any taxes for 10 years, a claim that was widely debunked by the media and by the tax returns that the former Massachusetts governor released. The Nevada senator has long refused to apologize for making the claim, which he attributed to an unnamed source.

Hmmm. I seem to remember that Trump was one of the people urging Mitt to release his tax returns back then. For him to put up with all this grief, there must be something there.
I think it may have something to do with Russia. I’m posting a link to a rather long article that shows quite a bit of research.

An excerpt from the article:
Read both articles: After his bankruptcy and business failures roughly a decade ago Trump has had an increasingly difficult time finding sources of capital for new investments. As I noted above, Trump has been blackballed by all major US banks with the exception of Deutschebank, which is of course a foreign bank with a major US presence. He has steadied and rebuilt his financial empire with a heavy reliance on capital from Russia. At a minimum the Trump organization is receiving lots of investment capital from people close to Vladimir Putin.
Trump’s tax returns would likely clarify the depth of his connections to and dependence on Russian capital aligned with Putin. And in case you’re keeping score at home: no, that’s not reassuring.
4. Then there’s Paul Manafort, Trump’s nominal ‘campaign chair’ who now functions as campaign manager and top advisor. Manafort spent most of the last decade as top campaign and communications advisor for Viktor Yanukovych, the pro-Russian Ukrainian Prime Minister and then President whose ouster in 2014 led to the on-going crisis and proxy war in Ukraine. Yanukovych was and remains a close Putin ally. Manafort is running Trump’s campaign.
5. Trump’s foreign policy advisor on Russia and Europe is Carter Page, a man whose entire professional career has revolved around investments in Russia and who has deep and continuing financial and employment ties to Gazprom. If you’re not familiar with Gazprom, imagine if most or all of the US energy industry were rolled up into a single company and it were personally controlled by the US President who used it as a source of revenue and patronage. That is Gazprom’s role in the Russian political and economic system. It is no exaggeration to say that you cannot be involved with Gazprom at the very high level which Page has been without being wholly in alignment with Putin’s policies. Those ties also allow Putin to put Page out of business at any time.

What if you believe that Trump is totally unqualified to be President and that his dangerous ideas pose an existential threat to the nation? Combine that with a complete distrust of anything that man says, so that you won’t even get what he “voices support” for. It is not just a matter of minor disagreements on immigration policy or minimum wage. It is a matter of character. That would be a proportionate reason.
“totally” … pretty strong statement.

Trump identifies people who are sworn to attack us, as being a security threat.

Trump identifies that the United States has just about the highest levels of taxation in the western world. Clinton HAS already stated that she want to increase taxes. Non-competitive tax structures cause companies and employers and even highly productive individuals to move away to less onerous tax locations.

Trump identifies that the Second Amendment must be preserved.

Trump identifies that the states and localities must control education, NOT the central Federal government.

Trump identifies that the EPA has forced non-scientific standards and caused dislocations in communities.

Seems to me that Trump is eminently qualified based on these and other statements.

Trump has set this down in writing on his Web site.

And you can visit Google and type in " youtube trump july " and get his latest responses to the Democrats. His speeches generally start off with a dissection of the news.

Read what he has published and listen to what he actually says.

If ever there were a proportionate reason, Donald Trump is it.

Absolutely. An existential threat to the nation and to the world order.

Someone as erratic and thin-skinned cannot be trusted with relationship between the US and the world, and with the nuclear codes. Not even speaking about the domestic fabric of society.

This is not a partisan issue. I would never have said this about Romney McCain or even Bush.

Yeah this is one of those cases where I will have to decide which is worse. Going against my faith as a Catholic or voting to hurt the country I live in. 😦

The case can be made that it is not even about this either or. Voting for Trump would go in so many ways against my faith as a Catholic. I could impossibly justify this in my conscience.

Well, according to some, he would be the lesser of two evils because he would impose tougher restrictions on abortion clinics, which would lower the amount of deaths of the unborn.

May I ask, did you vote for McCain, Romney or Bush?

If Donald Trump was not the Republican nominee, but Ted Cruz, or Marco Rubio was, would you vote for either of them against Hillary Clinton?

I think there is a serious question here about whether a proportionate reason can be something that is at least in part, speculative.

He’s praised Planned Parenthood and has claimed thousands of women have written him letters saying how awesome their care was there.
