You bring up a good point. We have a personal responsibility to help the poor and needy -a responsibility we cannot fulfill by voting for somebody who promises to do it for us
Of course we can. Not everyone can help directly by, for example, building homes for the needy, as Pres. Carter’s group (including himself) Habitat for Humanity does, or work in a soup kitchen. There is such a thing as indirect aid. Whenever we contribute money to a charity, we rely on the organization to make good use of the money sent to them. The same applies to candidates who fight for social justice, the poor, the needy, the sick, and the disabled.

In the news, “Trump tells mother to ‘get the baby out of here’ during rally”:
Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump ejected a mother and her crying baby from one of his rallies in Ashburn, Virginia, on Tuesday, after the baby’s crying distracted him during his speech. Trump first told the mother not to worry about the noise as he ‘loves babies’, before changing his mind minutes later and telling the audience ‘I think she really believed me that I like having a baby crying while I’m speaking’

Yeah, that’s some pro-life candidate.
Did you watch the video? Trumps audience was laughing right along with him.

The bias here is breathtaking. How dare trump be jovial and kid around withy his rally attendants?!

Wow! Nobody has done that for decades in either party. Well, the last thing was the Earned Income Credit, but that was Reagan’s, which tells one how long it has been since any kind of real political charity has been done.

But even then, most people don’t think of politics in terms of real charity, because they’re usually thinking about giving away someone else’s money, not their own.

Queen, would you mind answering the question as to where the private citizen of the blog you use for your news source gets her/his news?

there is no need to answer your question. You have sources you trust and I have mine.

Well, I looked at the site and she cited Youtube.

That’s pretty much main stream media, don’t you think?

So it seems like your very own source is using the sources to which you eschew.

Do you not find this ironic?

No I dont. Youtube with only trump speech without NBC ABC CNN commentary, editing or cutting off, or questions to trap him, or malicious interviewers, is not main stream media. It’s simply trump talking to people. Main stream media are paid employees who have to answer to their bosses. Most of these journalists are liberal democrats whose bias is for all to see.

I don’t try to convince you of anything. Please don’t try to convince me.

I have yet to hear Trump say ANYTHING about uniting us. It seems his whole campaign is based upon demonizing Hillary and diving the country into “us vs them” whether it be liberals v conservatives, illegals vs legals, muslims vs christians, men vs women, etc. Just looking at how we has attacked the Khan family should be a warning call to even his most die hard supporters. But then again, he can shoot someone in the middle of town and his numbers would not go down. And he’s probably correct in my opinion.

The Weekly Standard is an American neoconservative opinion magazine.

Donald Trump Is Crazy, and So Is the GOP for Embracing Him

“Trump supporters would pretend that your refusal to support Trump means you’re backing Hillary Clinton. It’s an absurd argument, of course. There are other options. This election is not a “binary choice” as Trump backers claim. If the top candidates are, on the one hand, a congenital liar who jeopardized national security in service of her own ambition, and on the other, an unstable conspiracy theorist, the best choice is none of the above—a non-endorsement, a third party candidate, a write-in.”

Probably.

In addition, on this forum the pro-life thing trumps everything else. Nevermind that Trump is pro-life in name only (PLINO) and a Trump presidency would be a grave menace to American society and the world order in general. This myopic and self-deceiving view on things is baffling – but then, all Catholics who vote Hillary go to hell (shrug).

Why should I have to answer to anyone if I watch a YouTube video? PRmerger asked for the website I visit and I gave it to him. He doesn’t need to read it if he doesn’t trust it. What is this? Anyone that converses with you has to follow YOUR thought patterns?

PRMerger is a woman.

I couldn’t care less what sources you use for your information, but for the record I was very clear YouTube videos with only trumps speech and no commentaries are more trustworthy to me than the nightly news with only snippet of his words plus commentary and feigned outrages. I don’t hold anyone to any standard. You are welcome to do whatever.

Just saw these 3 polls.
Arizona as of right now goes to HRC.
Georgia has Trump ahead by 2 points.
270towin.com/2016-polls-clinton-trump/

And a new Utah poll has Trump leading HRC 36-35%.
thehill.com/blogs/ballot-box/presidential-races/290088-utah-poll-clinton-in-dead-heat-with-trump

It’s true, Trump might try to fight the 2000, 2004, 2008, 2012 swing states (Pennsylvania, Ohio, FLA, Iowa, Wisconsin, Colorado, Nevada) but now your adding 3 almost solid red states that he has to go, or send somebody and defend safe territory.
