An average of recent polls has Cruz 40.2%, Trump 33.4%, Kasich 18.6%. I’ll be interested to see whether, when it comes down to the actual vote, some Kasich people switch their support to Cruz.

This is a great and wonderful thing that Mr. Trump has done. I am oftentimes disappointed when I hear about famous politicians who have taken illegal drugs, and others who say that they are passionate about promoting a woman’s right to murder her unborn child.

Yes, Trump has drilled this into his own children. I’m going to drill this into my son as well. A good mantra, “no smoking, no drugs, easy on the alcohol!”

Yes because contrary to what you seem to think, I’m not at all certain Trump will be the nominee. I think he will fall short in delegates on the first ballot. I won’t be one bit surprised to see him denied the nomination. I’m not yet ruling out Kasich or even Ryan. But I do think Cruz might be the one they settle on if they dump Trump. I think the GOP is caught between a rock and a hard place and no option looks good for them. Trump I think gives them headaches. Cruz I think is far too extreme for a general election. I actually think Kasich might be their best option unless Trump supporters bolt with Trump to a 3rd party or if Trump supporters and the far “right” both were to stay home.

Bottom line I think Trump could still end up as the nominee as the candidate with the plurality going in. I also think they could dump Trump on the 2nd ballot or how many it were to take to do that.

Someone can find fault even with a lovely story. You are thereby qualified to work in America media.

Oh, you needn’t tell me that the GOP race isn’t over yet (and I’m not just saying that because I live in one of the many states that haven’t voted yet).
 
So it’s not ok even if your favorite uncle asks you to promise him never to do drugs? or your favorite teacher? Or your grandmother?

I would hate to be a current college student. The value of diplomas keeps plummeting with each story like this.
 
I’m not a fan of DJT, but I think worrying too much about those events is counterproductive.

Alcohol is a drug. Figures, put Donald Trump in front of a bunch of impressionable kids and they’ll be contradicting themselves within minutes. Donald is truly magical.
