I can only repeat what Jim said, and I’m paraphrasing, “Whoever is elected as the next president, you will miss Obama.”

Remember his words.
I think whoever becomes the next president, we’re going to have a LOT MORE drama.

I think she’s a lot smarter than she seems. People underestimate her.
You don’t get a law degree from Yale without being smart; trying to portray her as otherwise is simply silly. There are more than enough negatives about her to point out without resorting to insulting her intelligence.

So you believe in divorce and multiple marriages? You’re defending it with the Bible?

How does anyone here know it was the wife who was quarrelsome and not Trump who was in the wrong?
Trump’s not a catholic. I’m not defending him on his failed marriages, but you’re stretching yourself too far trying to condemn Trump on this.

I’d say it’s much better to divorce and than to remain in a non-functional and probably invalid marriage just for political gains. That’s all I will say.

Wow, this you think is a point after all that with Lilly that this is not a theocracy rap? Are you even remotely serious with this dialogue now? Voting for Obama and Hillary and the culture of death and war and the war on the Church is out. I hope you comprehend this. But I see your personal attack continues. Whats respect does Obama and Hillary have for traditional marriage? That would he oh, none? Not a very good point.
They’ve at least stayed married to same person…

For all Hillary’s faults (and there are a lot of them), she didn’t hit the eject button even though her husband had at least one public affair (probably more).

I fail to see what evaluating a candidate’s stance on marriage has to do with theocracy…I’m not claiming divorce should be illegal. Do you think it’s wrong take Trump’s own words into account before voting for him?

As to a culture of death, are YOU serious? Trump supports torture, murder of the families of “suspected” terrorists, and violence at his rallies. He epitomizes a culture of death.

I made no argument, I simply made a statement of opinion.

P.S. Maybe lay off the logical fallacy talk. It makes you sound like you just got out of a university philosophy class. 😉
And that is your argument a personal attack lacking any valid point in fact you introduced a double standard. Your still taking about, in fact, about “me” what don’t you get about that? Do you actually have anything to discuss but a blatant double standard and in fact hypocrisy.

Would you like to word your Ad Hominem differently and bring it up a third time?

The amount of bashing Lily takes on these forums is nothing short of shameful.

What exactly are you hoping to accomplish through derogatory comments?
I don’t know what the answer to your question is, but I have noticed that many of my fellow Republicans believe that our party is too large, even suggesting that Cruz supporters should either switch to Trump or go Democrat.

What will make you understand that you have no credibility trying to lecture a fellow catholic when you sing the praise of Obama who supports abortion and gay marriage???

Last I checked, morality supersedes someone’s religion.

Aren’t Catholics bound by objective truth? Marriage is part of that truth. Someone being not Catholic can’t change that truth.

The praise of Obama?

Are you kidding me? Are you seriously kidding me?

I never voted for Obama. I don’t support him at all, and I can’t wait to see him gone.

So would you kindly stop spinning lies about fellow posters?

Well put, I don’t how it can be missed. 😉
I have never support President Obama. So other than a bold faced lie by Queen. I’m not sure what you’re point is.

So please, provide some evidence that I’ve support Obama. Oh wait, you can’t.

Sorry, but you’re not getting with the program. If you don’t support Trump, then you’re suppose to like Obama, period.

That’s Republican orthodoxy.

Gay marriage and abortion are not Catholic teaching last I checked. Nothing supersedes Christs Church because the Church IS Christ.

But we are talking and according to this conversation separation of Church and state with religious freedom intact and under attack as linked, and as Jefferson, Madison and the rest contended.

So what are Obama and Hillary Catholics bound to that Trumps followers are not? Gay marriage and abortion? Its getting difficult to comprehend your logic. Its not making any sense imho. I’m really trying to understand this but its rather nonsensical as I find most of the democratic positions when critically placed under scrutiny.

I said I thought she was extremely intelligent. Do you have me confused with someone else? I think Hillary’s IQ is probably in the genius range.

Why do you keep looping back to Obama and Hillary supporters? They are bound by the exact same teachings as supporters of Trump.

Please stop laboring under the incorrect assumption that I’m a democrat…it’s laughable

You supported Lillys position on this thread. Thats the democratic position and thus, now listen real carefully “implicitly” agree’d. I agree your words were not explicit.

Thanks.

I’m profoundly sorry for having mistaken you for the other poster JimR-OCDS who has profusely praised Obama.

A fact I am obviously aware of you must be now speaking to others confused about this. However, religious freedom is in fact what you and I have been discussing and where you ran out of logic. LOL.
Logic has nothing to do with it. It’s factual.

We don’t like in a Roman Catholic theocracy, and we can’t expect our lawmakers and interpreters, i.e. the Supreme Court, to make laws that follow Roman Catholic teaching. The job of the Supreme Court is to interpret the law and make sure it follows the constitution. The Constitution of the US calls for religious freedom. We have that. Catholics are free to practice their religion. No Catholic woman is forced to have an abortion just because it’s legal. Other religions do not have a problem with abortion. Should abortion be illegal, it would step on their religion. As for the Little Sisters of the Poor, Hillary, at least, has promised to correct that defect.

Yup, not “singing the praises” of obama. Not even close.

So can we get back to how you rationalize Trump’s culture of death?

Trump supports torture, murder of the families of “suspected” terrorists, and violence at his rallies. He epitomizes a culture of death.
