I think pretty much everyone can read between the lines re HC comments re a woman’s right to her own reproductive health.Sort of like BC " depends on what the meaning if the word “is” is…yeah right:rolleyes:

Nothing like making political hay over a tragic event on the day of a primary, just as Cruz did with respect to the same terrorist attack at Trump’s expense and just as Obama has done with regard to the necessity of stricter gun legislation (which I happen to agree with). These politicians are like peas in a pod.

BTW, Brussels never had a zero crime rate, especially compared to other Belgian cities.

If you still believe trump is against legal immigration or legal Mexicans, I’ll leave you alone. If you believe illegal immigration is not a problem that deserves a wild turn of direction, we’l just have to disagree. There is no point in arguing.

Sounds like Trump’s “Reichstag” moment. All politicians use events like that.
Fear creates radicalism.
 
I feel safe in New York City, but that doesn’t mean the crime rate is low. Brussels has a relatively low crime rate overall but it is not and never was zero or close to it.

Most of the Mexicans I know are wonderful people…

Although I do know of one who married someone for her money, which he managed to get and send to his family in Mexico. Thankfully, before she died, she divorced him. But, not before he took just about everything she had, which amounted to tens of thousands of dollars.

I am a Bernie supporter, too, but I think Hillary will win the nomination. I do find Bernie more authentic and empathetic, though, and more honest. I really can’t find fault with Bernie, and I’ve looked. He may be a little too idealistic, if that can be considered a fault. Nevertheless, I’m a great fan of his and voted for him in my states primary. If he wins the nomination, I will certainly vote for him; however, if Hillary wins the nomination, I will vote for her.

Most of the Mexicans I know are wonderful people, too. Most of them would take in a stranger even if it put a burden on them.

However, I’m sure there are “bad apples” in every barrel, Mexicans included.

My point was that we can’t make “blanket statements” as Trump did.

I find Bernie and Hillary both complicit in the abortion industry.

I am using that as an example of how politicians take advantage to tragedies and attacks.
Who said ‘never waste a good crisis’?
 
Check out the Cartels of Mexico if one is talking about these fine upstanding people,

the government is so corrupt or otherwise compromised, villages now have to have their own self-defenses. Vigilantes

Thousands have died in an eternal war their in the last several years, probably over 40,000 and contraband and drugs cross the border.

If that’s all you have against them, then they are doing very well. 👍

I have a long “laundry list” of issues on which I disagree with the Republican candidates.
 
People smuggling is rampant on the border, if one likes open borders, they may inadvertently aid organized crime.

Immigrants through Mexico have been massacred; so despite the do-gooder talk, I think those who would let the illegal immigration continue, somewhat imperil innocents.
