Excuse me, but until a trial has been had. The person is indeed just a suspect. Can you show me a trial convicting those who were waterboarded at gitmo?

As to you comment about my thoughts on the legal system, are you being intentionally obtuse? Those who are guilty are convicted by trial using evidence and testimony. Something not afforded to supposed “terrorists”. It may not be perfect, but it’s surely better than summarily locking someone up and throwing away the key without the aforementioned.

If terrorist are never given a trial, shouldn’t your activist cause be first to change that? Where is the outcry for terrorists having their right to a trial taken away?

So much pity for terrorists and so much animosity for a leader who wants safety of the country. Sorry, you have your reasons but I’ll stick with common sense.
