I have not seen it posted on any news sources but it is clearly on his twitter account.

I thought it was nice because tomorrow is Melania’s birthday not that it has anything to do with that.

She was raised catholic but others have she does not attend.

He probably feels more comfortable with Cardinal Dolan. When Trump attended the Al Smith Charity dinner in NY, Cardinal Dolan sat in between Trump and Hillary Clinton.

I just can’t believe no one in the media is covering this as news story. I keep checking that it is his actual twitter account.

Isn’t the City still like a ghost town every day?
Visiting NYC now by a president with 1 in 5 having antibodies and many times the number dead than on 9/11.
I would hope this is about those souls.
Trump grew in that city he has to be aware
 
President’s visit disasters. NYC is still in the midst of a disaster. Bigger than any Hurricane. Bigger than 9/11.
I didn’t read about this, but he is going to a locked down city where 1 in 5 have antibodies and thousands and thousands are dead.
There is only the souls in that city to meet over in St Patricks
 
That what it says on his twitter page. When I clicked on the ink it gives me Saint Patrick’s Church and it shows a live online mass link.

I checked Saint Patrick’s cathedral and I see the same link to a live online mass. I am sure there are many catholics who would like to view this but will never even know.

There was a time when the media would have covered when a New York Cardinal of the catholic church spoke with the President but not today.

He sounded more excited in his tweet to be on the Catholic Channel rather than stating he was visiting any disaster (where he would just be disrupting critical care tbh). I wish I could trust him and his intentions, but he’s proven to be a one-way street when it comes to his ego and publicity and his ratings. Sorry I am so blunt here.

You see, as a Catholic I find it way more than distasteful - and extremely unacceptable - that he is such a huge liar. The prez should set the tone for us all. His doesn’t cut it to be a “leading example”. This is not a political statement. He has spewed tens of thousands of (verified) lies to us. And please don’t blame “fake news”. People should demand better in the moral character of our leader.

Get off your high horse. Catholicism is not some exclusive club where only the select are welcome to attend Mass. To pretend you pray for the man but then get angry that he takes steps that could bring him potentially closer to the faith is a joke.

I think so.

It would be difficult to provide security to get him and the secret service to and from the airport to the cathedral.
 
It’s not about him attending Mass. He should attend Lord knows. It’s giving him a venue to propogate more of his blather that’s wrong. Most leaders sit and participate in the service. They don’t get on the pulpit. Let’s see what happens… Cheers
