Probably not a good idea to shout “F— You” to a federal agent, then kick him and grab his throat. Guy got off lucky. 🤷
Yeah, they shoulda’ tied him to the bumper and driven him a mile…:D;)

Given what is happening in the South right now with Trump - I think we are getting past party differences and entering moral obligation territory. You guys win by default. 😃 Not skill or merit.
Ha! To be fair, I’m not a big fan of HRC. But it can’t be a good thing when neither party can even feign having the moral high ground anymore.

**Well, to be fair to Trump, he wouldn’t have many supporters left if he did that. **David Duke told his followers the other day to go to Trump headquarters and volunteer because they would find a lot of like-minded people there. It would be disingenuous of Trump to disavow Duke and white supremacists when he is using much of the same language and promoting the same ideas. He might as well just own it. It’s worked well for him, so far.
**“he wouldn’t have many supporters left if he did that.”

He wouldn’t have many supporters left if he disavowed white supremacists.**

Does no one else have an issue with this statement?

This is a catholic forum. The people consistently vilified on this forum have been trump supporters. They have now been called white supremacists.

There is a qualifier - ‘many’ - not all; the comment wasn’t aimed at you personally…if I were you I would take this bad rap up with David Duke, not Catholics. It is an indisputable fact that many white supremacists are Trump supporters.

No Songcatcher is indicting most of Trump’s supporters. He said there wouldn’t be many left, meaning most of his supporters are white supremacists.

It’s ok if you don’t have a problem with it. I just want to hear from you loud and clear, 'cause that way I know exactly how much you hold your countrymen in disdain.

I talk about the militant left on here all the time.

Fine but it does not change the fact was when asked about it on national tv. He said he needed to research them. Once again who says this! Who needs to research it. Such a man will not get elected. If Trump fans can not understand this I don’t know what to say but you all are officially at the unable to reason with.

The Democrats will play the tape of him refusing to denounce 3 times fifty million times. He will lose. And not only that everyone who supports him will be rated.

It was not a difficult thing to do it is not a trick question
Trump’s children are Jewish, Trump denounced the Klan already.

The KKK is very much associated with the Democratic Party.

The size of this thread really speaks volumes as to why Trump is doing so well.

Those voting in the GOP primary need to think: a lot of this is temporary and flavor of the moment.

Not even a week ago, we were talking about how serious it would be to replace Scalia, and now everyone can talk about is what Marco said about hair and hands and what Trump says about height. Its’ supposedly do or die for America, and this is what is being talked about.

It’s a four year term, folks, and I’m tired of seeing messages/posts like “but, but :bighanky: the government promised!!” :crying: or how “surprised” people from Christian leadership on down that an anti-Catholic agenda is being implemented because they were “caught in the moment” or voted a politician whose party platform was, well, “anti-Catholic”.

The other side isn’t much better. Sanders is pushing ideas that no Congress in history would ever approve (ironic considering how long he’s been there) and BJC is yelling on stage at marines.

White Supremacists Mobilize For Donald Trump
On Wednesday, David Duke, the white nationalist and former Ku Klux Klan Grand Wizard, encouraged his radio show listeners to volunteer for Trump’s campaign. “Call Donald Trump’s headquarters [and] volunteer,” he said on the “David Duke Radio Program.” At Trump campaign offices, he said, "you’re gonna meet people who are going to have the same kind of mindset that you have.”
In Minnesota and Vermont, a white supremacist super PAC called the American National Super PAC has begun circulating a robocall in support of Trump.
"The white race is dying out in America and Europe because we are afraid to be called ‘racist,’ says William Johnson, the leader of the white nationalist American Freedom Party. He goes on to bemoan “gradual genocide against the white race,” and how few “schools anymore have beautiful white children as the majority.” He signs off by telling recipients, “Don’t vote for a Cuban. Vote for Donald Trump.”
Johnson is not affiliated in any way with the Trump campaign, and Trump has distanced himself from Johnson’s views. Trump also promised to return a $250 contribution Johnson made to his campaign.
But Trump’s response to the white supremacists backing him is hardly enough to put them off, said Mark Potok, senior fellow at the Southern Poverty Law Center, a nonprofit that monitors hate groups.
"Trump has ‘quote unquote’ repudiated these groups, but only in the most milquetoast way imaginable," Potok said in an interview. "The fact is that white nationalists are mobilizing for Trump whether he likes it or not."
**Trump’s habit of retweeting messages posted by white supremacists, sharing them with his 6.4 million Twitter followers, hasn’t helped matters. **

Is this a joke? They’re associated with a party that has a black president?
This quote: “I’m not really voting for Obama, I’m voting for Biden”.

Now, why again did Obama pick Biden for his running mate?

And yes, the KKK has risen to office as high as US Senate (that we publicly know of) under the DNC banner. That’s why so many liberals scramble to write revisionist history when it comes to Civil Rights.

Basically, Trump wants to have his cake and eat it, too. Superficially keeping white nationalists at arm’s length while co-opting their message and packaging it in terms designed to appeal to his low-attention span audience.

Precisely. The fracturing of this party is staggering.
It’s the primary season.

The Democrats also have major issues. Were it not for the entitlements, that party would either have to break right or would be irrelevant nationally.

white supremacists= white nationalists?

What do you call black nationalists? Asian American nationalists?

If Trump wins the election, he will have to have more than half the electorate voting for him. According to some of the logic here, the majority of that half electorate are white supremacists. And yet it is the same country who has voted in Obama twice.

This sounds like attack of voters not analysis of issues.

I doubt that most KKK people would like Biden very much either considering that he’s Catholic. The KKK might have been associated with the Democratic Party years ago, but they aren’t any longer.

Robert Byrd and so on, also, Klan is historically linked to the Democratic Party.

Last I saw, President Obama is half white.

The Nation of Islam.

Not full blown white supremacists, but there would definitely be a fair proportion of sympathizers and other sundry parties conducive to the ultimately white supremacist tenor of the Trump campaign; what communists called “useful idiots” and “fellow travelers”.
This sounds like attack of voters not analysis of issues.
The voters and the issues are indistinguishable in this case.
