He certainly says he is, but how much of what he proposes do you really think he can do? He would be part of only one branch of government.
People are ignore how badly Obama managed the country: Much low hanging fruit.
  • Enforcing immigration laws? POTUS can control
  • Tax reform? A compromise that repatriates billions can be obtained by POTUS
  • VA reform? POTUS can deliver much on his own
  • **Military reform? **POTUS is the Commander.
  • **Education reform? **needs leadership with Congress
  • **Replace ACA? **Major engagement with Congress, but they are motivated
I find it hard to believe that Trump is winning the support of so many evangelical Christians. He was endorsed by Jerry Falwell Jr., the president of Liberty University, who has called him “one of the greatest visionaries of our time.” Last week, Pat Robertson told Mr. Trump during an interview, “You inspire us all.”
Evangelicals want a leader, not a Sunday School Teacher.
This confuses me. Even if he gets into the race now, there is absolutely no evidence that he would get the nomination, or even get enough delegates to deny Trump the nomination.
Romney is a great guy but he failed to inspire and he chose to stay in seclusion past 3 yrs. He doesn’t have a prayer.

Are these states democrat now! Is racism still going on today there? I think both questions have a yes answer. There’s still a lot of racism there even though now it’s a republican area.
According to this logic, since there was a KKK rally in Anaheim California last weekend, that means Democrats are racists because California is a Democratic state.

The only people who hung people from trees were democrats. One can talk about racism all they want, those who acted in the old South violently, were Democrats, church bombings and lynchings, Bull Connor, Lester Maddox, all Democrats.

The South is in an economic boom.

Is there a lot of racism in the South? Probably no more or not much more than any other area of the country. I don’t buy the reasoning that because one area has a solid majority of one party, that means those people are racist.

Are these states democrat now? Georgia and Louisiana have only gone Republican in recent years.

Georgia since 1984.

Louisiana is a swing state.
So only democrat hung blacks? If one person who was a republican hung a black person your statement gets thrown out.

And yet, after the Civi Rights legislation, they became Republican. LBJ said that the legislation would cause the South to become Republican . Why did that happen then? Why did he think that?
Roe vs Wade certainly made a major impact of the differences between the parties.

No, it doesn’t get thrown out because the exceptions are so few and the Democrats are the ones that controlled the whole South.

That is their history, good or bad.

Just like some people would say people descended from Conquistadors should be ashamed of how they oppressed the Indians but last I know, a lot of people are proud of their Spanish heritage.
Ah, but you made it sound like those democrats. These were republicans stopping a republican to bring down the confederate flag.

Let me ask you, blacks are rich, poor, middle class, their also educated and others not so much. Yet most of the time, in recent history (some 30 years) they have sided with democrats. Why?

Why don’t you tell us your theory as to why.

No, Georgia went Republican only since the year 2000:
Republican America: How Georgia went ‘red’
By Patrik Jonsson, Contributor to The Christian Science Monitor July 15, 2004
1990, the House had 144 Democrats and 36 Republicans, and the Senate had 45 Democrats and 11 Republicans. In 2012, the House had 63 Democrats and 114 Republicans, and the Senate had 20 Democrats and 36 Republicans.
Today, both of Georgia’s U.S. senators — Johnny Isakson and Saxby Chambliss — are Republican.
When elected in 2002, former Gov. Sonny Perdue became the first Republican governor since Civil War Reconstruction. He switched to the Republican Party from the Democratic Party while a state legislator in 1998.
Republican Gov. Nathan Deal of Hall County also switched parties, in 1995. He served in the U.S. House from 1993 to 2010.

You tell me. Your the one saying that all democrats did in the south was hang blacks. Why then are blacks predominantly voting democrat nationwide?

Sure, if you want to call Detroit, Chicago, Baltimore and St. Louis great achievements of Democrats, go right ahead.

Also, as Catholics, we are to be pro-life, The Democratic party supports abortion that sees black children killed at a rate of 3 times, maybe even 5 times of white children.

So, if one wants to make the case that blacks are being served by the Democratic Party, go ahead.

I never said anything of the sort, please cite your evidence that I did such.

If there is any theory, then, it is entitlements, welfare that one could have a theory about and that is what they are voting on.

But 72% of black children are born out of wedlock, if one is making the Democrats as being the good guys, then, own that too, and Ferguson, Chicago, Detroit and all those places as well.
