The meltzerboy poll says that Trump is the strongest candidate for the Republicans, not Rubio and not Cruz, and that the larger Sanders lead compared to Clinton is ridiculous. Now are you going to believe CNN or MB?
I kind of like Sanders but felt he wouldn’t have as good a chance in the general election as Clinton. So I was kind of surprised by the big lead this poll showed by Sanders over the three Republicans, too.

Didn’t pope Francis just state that the death penalty is wrong. Are you going to say, he wasn’t speaking ex cathedra?

To me that’s just finding loops.
Yes, he wasn’t speaking ex cathedra. So you not understand how ex cathedra works?

Oh I understand completely, but I respond and abide by what the pope states. I won’t be like others who praise the pope, and then he states something I don’t like, I’m going to use the “ex cathedra clause”. Be mature and be a true Catholic

CNN who? 🙂

Excuse me, first you wrongfully accuse me of stating that democrats only killed blacks or some crazy thing and now you tell me to be mature and a true Catholic? I’m still waiting for an apology or evidence that I said the things about democrats and blacks you accused me of.

I think you need to work on being more charitable and pay more attention to who’s posting what. I never said the things you accused me of.

The church is also against the death penalty. The Republican Party is for the death penalty.

Wait, your going to say it’s not an official teaching?
Church teaching allows the death penalty.

We are here, playing quote-a-Pope, the Magisterium is the official teaching of the Catholic Church.

This is “quote-a-Pope”, it is not official Catholic teaching.

So where is “who am I to judge” in there? It seems to be sorely lacking today.

Once again, you find a loop and go with what you want.

Kinda like the rich kid, who said, I’ve done all that Lord, but when it was time to sell everything, uhh never mind.

Didn’t God say to follow him, follow his church. At no point have I ever said, well ex cathedra that’s why I have a different opinion. The church has a lot of knowledge, even if they give an opinion about something I’ll take into consideration. And if I don’t agree, I’ll keep it inside, not say, oh well it’s quote a pope.

You can judge somebody if you see them stand here on an issue and 5 minutes later change opinions. You well can do that, what I can’t do is complain about it, then 5 minutes later, change my position.

Are you purposely ignoring my posts where I asked you to clarify your wrongful accusation of me and smearing of my name on this forum?

Well your behavior here and the fact that you are ignoring the fact that you are accusing me of something I never did says a lot about you. It’s been hours since I asked the first time and now you come back acting like you never wrongfully accused me of anything.

Trump’s statement tonight about Speaker of the House, Paul Ryan, a fellow Republican:

“I’m sure I’m going to get along with him, and if I don’t, he’s going to pay a big price.”

A bully as always.

Hmm. The word of several Popes or the words of conservatives advocating state sanctioned murder. Life’s full of tough choices.

This site shows that the states with the highest crime rate are republican.

Look both parties are no angel. Both parties have blood on their hands. No one can say, but the democrats or those damn republicans.

No both parties have blood on their hands. Both parties have made their bank accounts grow substantially.
But if you look at cities, the Dem lead cities lead with violent crime.
Does this mean that rural libs are pacifists while the urban libs chew on lead paint?

Trump praises Planned Parenthood… tonight??? I disagree that he’s really attacking “pro-life voters who disagree with him”; but still, I guess Lifenews knows this better than I would.
Yet here is Trump again defending Planned Parenthood on the night he should have been celebrating primary victories in a handful of states. This time, however, Trump goes further. Not only does he defend Planned Parenthood, he attacks pro-life voters who disagree with him:
Trump dismissed the notion he is not a true conservative because he supports Planned Parenthood, insisting he is “just doing what’s right.”
“Look, Planned Parenthood has done very good work for many, many — for millions of women,” Trump said in a news conference Tuesday night. “And I’ll say it, and I know a lot of the so-called conservatives, they say that’s really … cause I’m a conservative, but I’m a common-sense conservative.”
Trump said he would not fund Planned Parenthood “as long as you have the abortion going on,” but noted the “millions of people — and I’ve had thousands of letters from women — that have been helped.”
“And this wasn’t a set-up. This was women writing letters. But I’m going to be really good for women, I’m going to be good for women’s health issues, it’s very important to me. Very important to me,” he said.

As Catholics were also suppose to help those in need, the poor, the sick. Overall the democrat those that. Republican helps the rich and filters from there. Aren’t we to help first the one who needs help? Not the one whose stuffed in cash?
Whether not Democrat elected officials help the poor and needy more than Republican elected officials is debatable but it is irrelevant as far as our Catholic obligation to help the poor and needy . That is a personal responsibility and cannot be delegated to those we vote for . One cannot fulfill this personal obligation by voting for someone who promises to take other peoples money and do it for them.

Study after Study shows that conservatives given far more to charity than Liberals
