The question unless you can prove your point is a logical fallacy at the moment. That doesn’t answer the question.

I’m a Cruz supporter. I don’t understand the continued support for Trump.Where are the Trump supporters saying this? And where are people showing anger? My concern is who is really speaking up for these core principles. You know the small we the peoples? The Christians and religious freedom and constitution?
As a Christian watching this for 8-years, I know of no-one who spoke as brilliantly as Cruz. In fact as far as the rest their silence has been deafening, I see no issue with the fact Trump decided to advocate for much the same of recent.
Ok, as a normal person, when someone attacks a person you trust and like, and you see they are not being honest about it, you get upset. That doesn’t answer the question.
I’m trying to choose a candidate and think the angry people appear to be the losers at the moment.I’m a Cruz supporter. I don’t understand the continued support for Trump.
And the GOP has put forth things in the budget, etc. that are what most of us want and Obama has turned his back on them. Granted, we have not got what we voted for, but let’s take into consideration how the government works rather than immediately put down those we elected on the Republican side.I think GT is right additionally, we elect these politicians but the budget deal and so on, what exactly are they doing for the people? In that, one might think, they are being GOP establishment. All we’ve had in recent years is the liberal agenda being pushed on us.
GOP controls both Senate and the House, so they should do something to show for it. As said, Cruz has filibustered and done things like that.
I would agree with some of what you have said here.Ok, as a normal person, when someone attacks a person you trust and like, and you see they are not being honest about it, you get upset.
The only reason Trump is winning is because he works hard and that he’s able to speak to the people. He’s winning not because of the attacks but despite them.
Oh I do,I do, honestly but the last Paul Ryan concession, very disturbing. But I think Paul also laid out well that in the future the bills will be point by point and not sliding in other agendas and piggybacking abortion etc.And the GOP has put forth things in the budget, etc. that are what most of us want and Obama has turned his back on them. Granted, we have not got what we voted for, but let’s take into consideration how the government works rather than immediately put down those we elected on the Republican side.
It’s not “emotional nonsense” that Trump has praised Planned Parenthood and says they do “wonderful work.” Is abortion no longer a non-negotiable issue? Are Catholics now permitted to agree that all of PP’s work is wonderful? What does Trump think PP does – mammograms and pap smears only, and they refer pregnant woman to Crisis Pregancy Center? Has PP ever referred a pregnant woman for an ultrasound? And he makes crude jokes about his anatomy before millions of viewers? I gotta say: the more the Trump/Cruz/Rubio three-ring circus continues, the more I like Kasich - the only candidate who seems to be consistently pro-life (not simply “anti-abortion”), including after the baby’s born.I have heard all the arguments on this thread, not any are great or even good imho, some plausible most just emotional nonsense.
Of course they’re the losers. Trump’s laughing all the way to the bank with how he’s playing everyone. He’s as pro-life as a hang nail, and Dennis Rodman has more foreign policy experience (literally.)I’m trying to choose a candidate and think the angry people appear to be the losers at the moment.![]()
Sorry I edited your post a bit more but I want to address this part. When I first read/heard some one refer to Trump as ant-establishment I found it bizzare too. I thought about it for a bit and I am left wondering if maybe the reason that people see him as anti-establishment is because he seems to have been able to beat the establishment at its own game. From what I understand about business and how Trump makes his money is he uses the establishment to the fullest. He knows and spends his time learning every little thing there is to know about the establishment not that he is against it but to use it to his advantage to make money. He is the poster child of the term finding the loop-holes. He has made a fortune doing this and I believe that is why he gets audited regularly. To some this looks like he is beating the system at its own game and in there minds this makes him against the establishment. What I believe people may not realize is that if there was no establishment to use, he would have nothing. So he is not using the system to beat it but to make it work for himself. He sees anything threatening this establishment as we have it now as a threat to himself and his livelihood. That is, I believe, his reason for not wanting President Obama or Clinton or anyone else who would try to change the system too much, and what ultimately drove him to run for the presidency himself. I personally don’t believe he believes he is doing anything wrong. Leagaly, he’s not. As far as I can tell. He could never be anti-establishment as it is now. He has used the establishment to make himself who and what he is. But I believe people in general don’t see his using the establishment as a bad thing. Maybe it’s not. If I had the knowledge and know how I would probably try to use it so that I wasn’t broke all the time too. But when people use the establishmentarian and the establishment has weaknesses in it that allow people who know how to use it, exploit others something needs to be fixed. It is those people who want to try and fix the establishment to prevent people from being exploited the I see Trump as being vehemently against.I edited some of my above post.
It’s bizarre when there are people with conservative records being labelled as “establishment” but Donald Trump is seen as “anti establishment” or not part of the “establishment” even though he arguably holds views/positions that are conservative.
And a good conscious should be alarmed - red flag alarm - when you hear a candidate praise PP, the go-to abortion provider, as doing wonderful work. It’s a little silly (not to mention hypocritical) for some Republicans to be worried about Scalia’s replacement when they apparently have no reservations about a PP cheerleader. The logic escapes me.I beleive people, because thier good conscience won’t let them be like Trump, are living vicariously through him…he is a master businessman. He knows how to tap into what people want probably better than most politicians because he has made a living of selling things to people. I don’t see him doing anything different in his run for the presidency than he does to promote or sell his wears.
Anyway I know this is just my two-cents. So take it for what it is…just wanted to throw in some more food-for-thought for others to consider.
It’s sad and scary as to how blind we are or more like become and how much we are willing to compromise when we are angry and scared enough. And a good conscious should be alarmed - red flag alarm - when you hear a candidate praise PP, the go-to abortion provider, as doing wonderful work. No one in the country is voting for trump because they want him to support abortions. It’s sad and scary as to how blind we are or more like become and how much we are willing to compromise when we are angry and scared enough.
Those that chose Trump over Rubio apparently don’t care one way or the other what happens with abortion. No one in the country is voting for trump because they want him to support abortions.
That’s not true. I don’t trust rubio. Those that chose Trump over Rubio apparently don’t care one way or the other what happens with abortion.
They have nothing to say as Trumps position is posted. Not a response anywhere, nonsensical opinion driven by the emotional response of losers as we see. Sore losers Is all I see. That’s not true. I don’t trust rubio.
What? You trust Trump’s pro-life credentials over Rubio’s pro-life credentials? Or is it that you don’t trust Rubio’s position on immigration, or some such thing? If that is the case, you are placing abortion lower in ranking than other prudential judgment values - just the thing that liberals are being accused of when they justify voting for Hillary or Bernie. That’s not true. I don’t trust rubio.
If you really care about abortions you would want to do everything to defeat hillary. Hillary is an enemy of prolife movement, not trump. Those that chose Trump over Rubio apparently don’t care one way or the other what happens with abortion.
