Nonsense. It looks to me like Kiev is the aggressor as it is committing economic genocide against the people living in east Ukraine, by cutting off their pensions. Innocent women and children have been starving to death as a result of Kiev’s genocidal policies. I would support a peaceful and diplomatic settlement of the civil war, not more bloodshed and starvation as would result from what Kasich is proposing. Why doesn’t Kasich talk about peace and a peaceful solution in the region? No, he only wants more weapons and more war.

Russian soldiers, agents and arms are in eastern Ukraine. Russia has already annexed Crimea. No Ukrainian soldiers are in Russia.
The great majority of eastern Ukrainians want to remain part of Ukraine, including the majority of the Russian-speakers.
Sometimes the obvious answer is the right answer.
I think the world learned long ago at Munich that appeasing an aggressor by giving away another nations territory does not bring peace. It only brings more aggression.
But I can understand why Russia wouldn’t want Ukrainians to be able to defend themselves.
