How many other lies have we endured this year? I don’t want to know!

To the readers.

Fauci has spoken out of both sides of his mouth since BEFORE this pandemic was declared a pandemic on just about every aspect of it (except “hooking up”).

Him pretending he was always in favor of keeping schools open is just plain not true except for a few plasible deniabilty statements.

That is WHY Fauci and Senator Dr. Rand Paul were at loggerheads last summer.

The media was Fauci’s proxy in much of that disagreement.

Rand Paul rips Fauci’s coronavirus response, says schools should be reopened

Bob Fredericks

June 30, 2020

Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul on Tuesday ripped into Dr. Anthony Fauci and what he called government “central planners” during a hearing on COVID-19 response, asserting that Americans should not be “sheep” — and that US schools should reopen.

“It is a fatal conceit to believe any one person or small group of people has the knowledge necessary to direct an economy or dictate public health behavior. I think government experts need to show caution in their prognostications,” Paul, a Republican and libertarian, told the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee hearing featuring the Trump administration’s top coronavirus experts.

“It’s important to realize that if society meekly submits to an expert and that expert is wrong, a great deal of harm may occur when we allow one man’s policy or one group of small men and women to be foisted on an entire nation,” Paul continued.

“Take for example government experts who continue to call for schools and day care to stay closed or that recommend restrictions that make it impossible for a school to function. There are examples from all across the United States and around the world that show that young children rarely spread the virus,” he asserted, pointing to countries that have reopened, including Denmark, France and Germany.

“No spike when schools are opened. Central planners have enough knowledge somehow to tell a nation of some 330 million people what they can and can’t do,” he said.

“We shouldn’t presume that a group of experts somehow knows what’s best for everyone. Only decentralized power and decision-making based on millions of individualized situations can arrive at what risk and behaviors each individual will choose. That’s what America was founded on, not a herd with Washington telling us what to do and like sheep we blindly follow.”

He then slammed Fauci, accusing the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases and White House task force member of being a know-it-all.

“Dr. Fauci, every day we seem to hear from you things we can’t do. But when you’re asked, ‘Can we go back to school?’? I don’t hear much certitude at all. ‘Well, maybe.’ ‘It depends.’ Guess what? It’s rare for kids to transmit this. I don’t hear that coming from you. . . .

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis Says School Must Remain Open

30 Nov 2020

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) on Monday said that schools are required to remain open for in-person learning in the spring as the state continues to battle the coronavirus.

WEAR-TV reports:
[The schools] will also continue to offer virtual options, although there will be stricter monitoring requirements in virtual classes.

When it comes to virtual classes, the new rules will require parents to be notified if the student is struggling with virtual learning. Transitions to in-person learning may then be made, unless a parent objects.
“Closing schools due to coronavirus is probably the biggest blunder in modern American history,” DeSantis told reporters. . . .

I’m not to talk about it, so I won’t but will be vague. In relation to the video, a relative of mine in school has fallen apart. A top students before this year, and now with being at home for school has some serious issues. I’m hoping this can be worked out. I suspect this wouldn’t be a problem if school had been open for in person learning. I doubt we’ll hear a sorry we made a mistake from health officials and politicians over this issue with closing in person learning at schools.

Dr. Scott Atlas resigned his post yesterday.

Scott Atlas a radiologist. His “neuroradiology” certificate expired in 2017. He reads x-rays/CT scans/MRIs. He has absolutely NO experience in pandemics, virology, or public health.

Good riddance to another Trumpist.

His views on the pandemic has killed thousands of Americans. It’s infuriating.

It’s kind of hard to keep the schools open when so many teachers are out with Covid. We’re having a large uptick in cases in my city and they went to complete online again a week before Thanksgiving and will remain in online mode until after the New Year…when they will reassess the situation. A few kids are Covid positive and a whole bunch of teachers are. It was due to running rampant amongst the teachers that decided the issue.

CDC Director Dr. Robert Redfield Calls Again for In-School Learning

Dr. Susan Berry

2 Dec 2020

The director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) repeated his call for schools to open for in-person learning, asserting that schools are not a major cause of coronavirus contagion.

“You know, I was very disappointed in New York when they closed schools, when they hit their three percent point,” said Dr. Robert Redfield during an interview with CDC officials and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.

ecause, as you pointed out, we now have substantial data that shows that schools’ face-to-face learning can be conducted in K-12, and particularly in the elementary and middle schools in a safe and responsible way,” Redfield continued, according to Fox News.

The CDC director explained infections that do occur among teachers and students are largely due to the spread of the virus within communities or in homes.

“We’re not seeing intra-school transmission,” Redfield affirmed, adding:
I just think it’s healthy for these kids to be in school. That said, they got to do it safely and they’ve got to do it responsibly. And when this was started over the summer, no one really knew for certain. They thought that these public health measures would work. But now the data clearly shows us that you can operate these schools in face-to-face learning in a safe and responsible way. . . .
. . . Redfield said (agreeing with Senator Rand Paul) as early as July that it is “critically important for public health to open schools this fall.” . . .
Joe Biden (July 17th 2020): Everyone wants our schools to reopen. The question is how to make it safe and how to make it stick. Forcing educators and students back into classrooms in areas where infection rates are going up or remaining too high is just plain dangerous.
. . . . At the same time, former Vice President Joe Biden has been warning Americans that it is “just plain dangerous” for children to return to school. . .

Parentheticals mine.

Meanwhile Joe prioritizes this for schools . . .
