Don’t feel bad Max. I also have a fear that I might have cancer ever since they found a polyp in my esophagus. And yet I won’t know till the 17th whether or not it is cancer. Plus, I might have a severe infection of the stomach known as H Pylori. But hey, I know I shouldn’t tell you to not feel bad because it’s impossible to not feel bad in these kind of circumstances. But anyway, you have my prayers. :crossrc:

Thank you one and all. I can’t believe that there are people here from early February who have been following my cancer journey. You guys are amazing. You guys are “raising me up in prayer” (as the evangelical types would say!)

I have another one of those “test and wait” scenarios coming up. Catscan on 5/13 and results consult with the Doc on 5/20.

I’ll be hopin’ for the best!👍

I too pray for your speedy recovery. I pray that Our Lord gives you understanding of life itself, and that you know that the Father’s love for you is the same as his love for his Son. I pray that the hearts of your family turn together and toward Him, in whom life is eternal. I pray that you believe this reality even as you recover, because eventually in your old age you will face your earthly mortality once again.

My name is Tim, too. I pray that I may receive the grace to meet you in heaven, someday, as I don’t think I will get the chance to meet you down here. We will have to form a “Tim” club, where we will both get the opportunity to meet Tim Staples, and Paul’s beloved companion also. If I get there before you I’ll be waiting to greet you on behalf of the CA Forum family, if God allows. I am not joking.

Our lives are precious Tim, but only because God chose to create us out of absolutely nothing, just as He has created so many in the centuries before us, so many who are alive now in Him. We are not created for a good life here, or to spend as much time as possible here, but for something far, far greater, and for all eternity. This is my reality, your reality, your family’s reality; more real than the computer screen in front of our faces. It is life, and light, and love itself.

OK max, just saw your post #37. Not the same type as me, but just as personal. I was stage 3 and it was a tough fight no doubt. Please, if I can be of any help, let me know, im me, whatever brother. BTDT. you understand what I’m saying. Seriously. Any help, just ask.
