Father in Heaven, we lift Tim before You asking for Your healing touch on his body. You can do anything if it is Your will. We honestly don’t know Your will always, so as little children we ask for a miracle for Tim and complete healing. We ask in the name of Your beloved Son, Jesus our Lord, Amen.

Ever since I first heard of your strong faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for God’s people everywhere, I have not stopped thanking God for you. I pray for you constantly, asking God, the glorious Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, to give you spiritual wisdom and insight so that you might grow in your knowledge of God.
I pray that your hearts will be flooded with light so that you can understand the confident hope he has given to those he called-his holy people who are his rich and glorious inheritance. I also pray that you will understand the incredible greatness of God’s power for us who believe him. Yesterday a doctor found a tumor inside me (I don’t even want to say where). This coming Monday, they will take out some or all of it and biopsy it. It could be cancerous, it could be benign - I don’t know and won’t know for at least a week.

My mind has been on the rollercoaster since then - everything from heroic recovery, to being in the casket!
I know the imagination is one of God’s gifts, but it’s working against me since yesterday.

Not knowing, and waiting, are the worst!

Anyone who has a serious illness should be receiving the Sacraments of Unction & Reconciliation every month, if at all possible - This is NOT Selfish. This is the clear direction of Sacred Scripture, and then of The Early Church Fathers. If you can and your parish is willing to do it, you should also have your fellow Christians lay their hands on you and Pray for you every week or every 2 weeks of possible. This is also not selfish - We need to to this for our Faith and to work out our Salvation. I’m saying “Our” just in case you happen to be in any of our parishes…
