Have just spoken with Tim he had great news form the result of the CT scan.
I quote

[Tuesday’s CT scan showed "continued improvement in liver and lung metastasis compared to October scan, and ‘significant improvement’ since the September scan.]

Hello everyone! I truly appreciate all the prayers and how people have been following this for about 10 months now!

Here’s today’s short message I sent to family and friends (which should include all of you):
I have no specifics, but I got the call today:

“Tuesday’s CT shows continued improvement over October’s scan and significant improvement compared to September’s scan.”

Maybe I can get details at next Tuesday’s fun Chemo.

To fill in a little more info, my overall health has been improving. I have some radiation damage in my colon that makes some basic functions painful, but that’s better than being dead. The primary tumor itself was killed off in the initial 6-week treatment and the main battle since then has been to fight the metastatic (spreading) tumors on my liver and nodules on my lungs.

We switched chemos in August to a much stronger chemo cocktail that has knocked me on my butt a couple of times; causing two hospital visits for low white cells, or Red cells or platelets. (once was low WC; next was RC and Platelets)

Getting blood transfusions reminded how much a simple act of donating blood can change or save a life! I can’t donate in my condition, but if I can in the future, I surely will!

Anyway, I have been getting stronger and the cancer has been shrinking. I’ve been very optimistic lately, then got depressed when Elizabeth Edward’s case just hit the news - my situation is similar, but a different cancer.

Prayer for a Miracle

God of all creation, you who spoke a simple command and brought forth light from
the darkness, I ask you now to send forth your miracle-working power to heal (TIM). You cleansed the lepers, opened the eyes of the blind and by
speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk.
You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from
the dead. I ask you to send forth your healing power into TIM’s body and give him the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen
