Turkey Blames Kurdish Groups as Bombing Kills 35 in Syrian Town​

Turkey said a bomb targeting civilians killed at least 35 people in a northeastern Syrian city that’s been under Turkish control since 2018.

In a Twitter post on Tuesday, the Ministry of Defense blamed two Kurdish groups – the PKK that’s been fighting for autonomy in Turkey for decades and the affiliated Syrian YPG – for the attack in Afrin that involved a bomb-laden fuel tanker.
